Chapter 26“Lieutenant, Ensign, Mr Jensen, the mission is a go. Proceed with your preparations.”
Queza’s voice came over the intercom in the suiting-up area beside the airlock. Razz gave Javi a quirky smile. “Looks like it’s a good thing you got that EV experience after all.”
Javi smiled nervously back. Somehow it was way scarier this time. But he, along with Razz and Binach, started to get into the EV suits. Eral’s bodyguard—fully recovered and simmering with fury—and a couple of the other guards, helped them into the suits, checked the seals and catches. By the time Queza’s voice came back on, all three had sealed in and finished checking the comms and heads-up displays.
“Five minutes,” Queza said, on the comms channel in Javi’s suit. “Report status.”
