‘What are you doing here?We agreed to see much later’ John said making sure Mary wasn't around.

‘C'mon John’ Oliva said rolling her eyes and taking a bottle of champagne from the rack.

‘We both know she's out of town and must have probably forgotten it like last year’.

‘I missed you,I know you missed me too.I came to keep you company, darling and also..’

‘Your lunch is ready,Sir’ Mary interrupted while clearing her throat.

‘Oh,Mary.Thanks’ John said following her with his eyes.

‘Urhmm,Mary.Can you help me go to Nuse 5 around Express Road?Get me the most expensive champagne’ John commanded.

‘But,Sir.They're bottles of champagne at home’ Mary pleaded.

‘And when did you start questioning me?’

‘Get this money and get me what I want now’ John resorted.

Okay,Sir.How about Kelvin?Can you look after him while I go get it? Mary pleadedm

‘Yeah,sure.Get going!’ John said as he rushed upstairs to meet Oliva.

‘Babbeeeee,babbbeeeee.I'm home’ Jane called out with a wide smile.

‘Awww,happy anniversary to us,darling’ She said showing John the gifts she got for him.

‘How can a married woman be doing business on her anniversary? What made you remember this time?’ John said sternly.

‘Ah ah,babe.I'm sorry now.At least,Im here now’ Jane said with a peck on his cheek.

‘Where's Mary and where's my son?I got gifts for them,as well’.

‘I sent Mary on an errand and..’

‘Oh,madam.Welcome,ma.Happy anniversary,ma’ Mary responded.

‘Yes,thank you.Where were you and where is my son??’ Jane asked abruptly.

‘Sir John, I left you here with him before going to get the champagne’ Mary said stuttering.

‘What do you mean you left Kelvin all by himself,Mary?’ Jane said pacing up and down.

‘What's that noise outside?’ Jane asked after a resounding bang and people shouting.

‘NOOOOOOO,my son!!!!!!!!!!!’

Jane screamed!

‘My son is gone!!!!!’ Jane rushed to the sight of her son gushing blood on the floor.

Mary's mouth was left open with her both hands on her head.

‘That's what happened.She slept with your husband on your anniversary and caused your son to leave the house and being knocked down by a car’ Mary said proudly.

‘I'm not the only sinner here.It's no wrong that I want to have my fair share of wealth and love’ Mary continued rolling her eyes at Oliva.

‘Sis?Why?’ Jane said weeping bitterly.

Mary pondered about this while crossing the express road and almost got knocked down by a car.

‘Madam,are you not thinking straight?Are you trying to kill yourself???Why will a sane person just cross an express road without watching?’ Anita blurted.

‘Yes,I want to die.My life is already ruined’ Mary said softly.

‘Oh,sis,I'm so sorry.Please,get into the car.Let's talk’ Anita pleaded while bringing Mary up from the ground.
