‘Guy,she has signed the divorce papers o.Just like that.’ John said while waiting in traffic.

‘Wow,so fast.That's good bro.Congratulations already.This is long overdue’ Owen cheered.

‘Please,calm down.She just found out the maid is pregnant for me and 5 days later she signs the divorce papers? Is that not strange? John wondered.

‘Why are you so worried,man.The deal is done.Just relax and get going with the process’.

‘Guy,something is definitely fishy.She was legitly always begging for another chance and now?She signs the papers. And she was being erotic about it.I'm suspecting her’ John pleaded.

‘What's the fuss about?You think she is cheating or what?You know she loves you too much to do that so soon.She's not like you,bro’.

‘You know she also found out I'm sleeping with her sister 3 days ago.All this is too sudden. I need to find out what's going on'John resorted.

‘I'm on my way to see Mary now.She needed some stuffs.I can branch your place later,right? John asked while driving into a shopping mall.

‘Erhmm, I'm not in town oo.I traveled this morning’ Owen stuttered.

‘Really?You didn't mention. Anyways,till you're back’.

‘This man is getting on my last nerves.How can he not take care of his pregnant girlfriend for how many weeks now’ Mary pondered while searching for her phone.

‘Oh,he's here’ Mary rolled her eyes at the sound of the door bell.

‘Hey honey,good afternoon. You look so good’ John said with a wide smile and a peck on her neck.

‘Get off me,pleaseYou just abandoned me here for a week.How do you expect me to survive?’ Mary lamented.

‘Awww,my love.You know I can't do that on purpose. I know you've missed me badly.I missed you,too.I came with great news to cheer you up’ John saidm

‘Really?’ Mary's eyes suddenly brightened and her smiles widened.

‘I’m moving in,soon?’ Mary asked.

‘Babe,chill.Not so fast.She signed the divorce papers,so we can finish up the process and I can take you home with my child’

John said biting his lips while aiming for her neck to plant kisses.

‘Wow!Finally’ Mary said with a mischievous smile.

‘Yes babe,I've missed you so much.I want you so badly,right now’ John pleaded.

‘Naughty boy.Come over here!’ Jane moaned softly.

‘Okay,so you signed a prenuptial during your wedding,right’? Andrew asked while checking details of the file.

‘Yes,I did.But of what use is that?’ Anita pleaded.

‘You're entitled to whatever percentage you choose of his assets as long as he commits infidelity’ Andrew responded.

‘I told you,girl.You have evidence,right?’ Anita said smiling sleeplessly.

‘Wow,whatever percentage?Yes,I do have concrete evidences.You know even my personal assistance I fired helped me get some’ Jane responded.

‘Great!’ Andrews said sternly.

‘We’ll work with that and we'll send him a letter to see us in court’ Andrew sais staring at Jane with dreamy eyes.

‘What is the meaning of this rubbish,Jane?Why did you have to go this far?’ John said storming the door.

‘Excuse you?You do not talk to me in that manner’ Jane said sternly as she turned off the television.

‘Ah ah naw.What's all this?Why do you want to ruin me’? John immediately pleaded.

‘See you in court,darling husband’ Jane blurted.

‘Guy,Jane has messed me up’ John cried out with a glass of red wine in his hands.

‘Calm down,bro’ Owen pleaded.

‘Ah,she is taking every single thing I have worked for’.

‘Explain please.I don't get it.Was it not a few days ago we celebrated her signing the papers.What's going on’?Owen asked after signaling the waiter to bring more drinks.

‘We signed a prenuptial agreement during our wedding and she's demanded for 90% of my assets’.

‘90%???

She's damn wicked,bro!’ Owen confessed.

‘Honestly,man.I have a pregnant girlfriend to take care of.She's not even listening to me,anymore’ John cried out.

‘But,why would you sign a prenuptial agreement, my guy? Owen asked.

‘It was her parents who wanted it,so we just did it’ John answered.

‘My guy,you need to find a way o.Find a way’ Owen concluded.

‘So how are you?How've you been fairing? I see your business is going well’ Andrew asked while settling in im Jane's new office.

‘Very well, Barrister. Thanks to you,I'm finding my feet again’ Jane smiled widely while offering him orange juice.

‘Oh,please.Call me Andrew. I'm glad I can be of help’ Andrew smiled with his eyes.

‘But,I keep wondering.What on earth will make a sane man want to divorce a woman as drop dead gorgeous…’ Andrew said licking his lips.

‘Oh,please stop’ Jane pleaded.

‘...hardworking and appetizing as you’?Andrew said leaning in for a kiss.

‘Can I come in,please?’ Anita said clearing her throat.

‘Oh,yes please’ Jane responded while hiding a smile.

‘Welcome,Anita.It's good to see you again.I'm about taking my leave.I'll allow you ladies enjoy the rest of the day’ Andrew said while finishing his drink.

‘Wow,someone is really excited’ Anita teased.

‘Yes my darling.I really need to thank you for bringing life to me.I feel so happy’ Jane confessed.

‘I can see that.Do you like him?Are you willing to give him a chance?Because you know he likes you’ Anita asked serving herself a glass of juice.

‘Urhm,yes.He's really kind and sweet.But,I'm not in a rush.’ Jane responded rolling her eyes with a blush.

‘I'll cheers to that’Anita responded while laughing out loud.

‘I'm done with this man.How long has it been since he saw me?He isn't even sending $200 as usual.What am I to do with $20 weekly?’ Mary said while pacing up and down arranging her belongings.

She opens the door but got distracted as her phone rang.

‘Oh,hey baby.I'm fine o,still managing’.

‘This man is just an idiot.He's such a loser and a pathetic fool’.

‘How does a sane man divorce a woman who has stayed with him during his highs and lows just for a maid like me?.

‘To think he believes this pregnancy is his own’ Mary laughs out loud.

‘Someone that can't even run for 2 hours on a stretch with his small thing' Mary said sighing.

‘I don't even know what my madam saw in him that made her stay that long’ Mary said rolling her eyes.

‘I miss you,baby.Let me just pack in as the woman of the house so I get enough money and we start our life,afresh’.

The door suddenly opens and its John with an opened mouth.

‘Hei,Babe,welcome’ Mary says trembling.

‘What did I just hear’ John pleaded.

‘It's not what you think. See,I can explain’ Mary pleaded.

‘Wow,so you made me leave my wife to cater for you and a child that's not mine????’ John demanded.

‘No baby,it's not how you're seeing it.It wasn't even you I was talking about’ Mary pleaded softly.

‘I don't ever want to see you ever again’ John commanded and slammed the door!.

Will you give me the honor of having dinner with you,tonight’ Andrew asked over the phone.

‘You wouldn't stop teasing me,would you?’ Jane responded.

‘I know what I want when I see it and I go all out for it’Andrew said.

‘I love that,lover boy’ Jane maned softly.

‘Is that a yes?I'll pick you up by 7pm.Look beautiful as always’.

‘Babe,you look so beautiful.Where are you headed?’ John asked with a long face.

‘On a date'Jane said.

‘On a date?We've barely concluded the divorce process’John pleased.

‘Who are you to tell me what to do?’ Jane commanded.

John went on his knees pleading, ‘Babe,I know I haven't been the best I can be.I have consistently blamed you for the death of our son.Please,forgive me.We can always start all over,please’.

Mary laughed out loud saying, ‘John,you're the only man I ever loved.You slept with my only sister and my maid,yet you made me suffer for nothing I had no hand in.Now you have discovered the baby is not yours and you've been played,you are coming back to me?’.

‘I’m not a second option and I won't be doing this with you.We are done.Have a wonderful night’ Jane said reapplying her lipstick after the doorbell rang’.

‘You're so beautiful, Jane.I'm not sure I can remain so focused if I'm seeing you all night’ Andrew leaned in for a peck while biting his lips as Jane walked to him.

‘I love you so much,Andrew.Thank you for bringing happiness to me’ Jane kissed Andrew deeply and passionately.
