♡ Chapter 3 ♡

1122 Words
The following morning, I threw on my red with white polka dot bikini top and white bikini bottoms and then some grey ripped up shorts over my bottoms and then put my hair up in a ponytail. Once I grabbed my beach bag, car keys and cellphone, I bumped into someone in the hallway outside of my bedroom. “Excuse you.” I hear a woman mutter annoyed. “Oh, I’m sorry.” I just say while backing away. The woman then looks at me with disgust. “Oh, it’s you.” She says with a sour tone. “And I have no clue who you are, and I actually don’t care.” I tell her then walk away to the staircase. I don’t have time to deal with my dad’s w***e. Actually, I prefer to not deal with her from now on.  Once I walked downstairs, I went into the kitchen and put my crap down on the counter then walked up to the fridge and grabbed a jug of OJ. “Lauren, can you be a little nicer to Rachel?” My dad asks me while walking inside the kitchen with a yawn. I grab a glass from the cabinet. “Nah, she’s a b***h to me.” I tell him. He just rolls his eyes at me and then grabs a jug of almond milk from the fridge. Yesterday, I had something Chicken flavored and I threw up all night last night, it’s like I had a dumb moment and forgot that I am a Vegan. And that was my first chicken flavored anything in a long while lemme tell you. And my dad complaining to me about his w***e is making me want to throw up again.  “Well you need to be nicer to Payton, because I’m pretty serious about her.” My father informs me whilst sipping his drink. “Well I mean, why should I when she was being rude to me?” I ask my father while drinking my OJ. “You play nice to your mom’s new husband.” My dad tells me. Oh, your father is happy to see you, my butt. “Because he’s actually a nice guy.” I say to him with a sigh. My dad just scoffs. Just then miss thing decides to grace us with her annoying presence, this makes me chug the rest of my orange juice and then put the glass in the sink, I grab my stuff from the counter and then walk out to the front door.  No way am I wanting to get to know this woman. No freaking way.   ~*~**~**~*~ I find a good spot on the beach and lay my towel over the hot sand. I then took my shorts off and then grabbed my sunglasses and put them on over my eyes. Thank the good Lord that I packed last night during the many times I’d thrown up; I am obsessed with this beach towel.  “Oh, I’m so sorry.” I hear a familiar voice say. I look up to see it was Wilson from yesterday. “You? What are you doing here?” I ask him while drying myself off. Wilson stands up and then gives me a small smile. “I’m about to start my shift.” He informs me while pointing to my left. I look at where he is pointing, and it was at a blue lifeguard tower.  “Well, that’s cool I guess.” I tell him while laying back down on my back. “Yeah, so that means if you’re drowning, I can save your life.” Wilson tells me while letting out a chuckle. I roll my eyes whilst putting my oversized sunglasses back over my eyes. “I’m a good swimmer, plus I’m not sure if I want to go swimming.” I tell him while putting my arms behind my head. I need to let my armpits get some tan too. “Okay, if you say so.” I hear him laugh and then runaway. I let out a frustrated sigh.  “Men.” I just muttered.   ~*~*~*~**~*~ A few hours later, I decided to step into the water. To be honest here, I haven’t swum in the ocean in like years. I mean, I know how to swim obviously, but only in a swimming pool. But this won’t be so bad.  I then walked further into the water, and once the water is up to my waist, I lay on my back and close my eyes, while floating. “This feels so amazing.” I say with a happy sigh.  A few minutes later, I felt something sharp hit my forehead and left shoulder. Then I felt getting pushed around then pushed into the water I tried to swim up, but the current won’t let me. All this going on while my eyes were closed. I felt water go into my lungs and it’s hard to breath now, is this dying? Just as I was going to accept that this is death, I felt some strong arms wrap around me and carry me bridal style.  “Oh my gosh!” I hear a woman gasp out. I lean against some wall but hear it have a heartbeat. Which is weird. “Give her some space guys!” I hear Wilson shout. I then felt my back on the soft cool sand.  I felt two strong hands on my chest, then felt someone’s breath going into my mouth, my lips getting touched by someone’s lips, and sparks just flying between the both of us. “Come on, come on.” I hear Wilson say shakily. After one more attempt of putting air into me, I opened my eyes and then coughed out a lot of water. I look to see Wilson on his knees next to me and giving me a small smile. Just then, I see another lifeguard running to me while carrying a First Aid kit. “Wilson, stitch her up.” The guy says while tossing Wilson the kit.  After everyone left Wilson and I alone, he let’s out a sigh then starts looking through the kit. I see that the sun is already starting to set. “What happened?” I ask him dryly. He hands me a water bottle. “You drowned.” Wilson informs me while grabbing some string. He looks so worried about me.
