“Please Jordan, you aren’t fully recovered from the last battle!” Rose cried, standing in front of him, her hand to his chest.
“I am Alpha, Rose; this is my fight above all others. I should have been with Todd, Lachlan and Liam at the very start. I hear they have already fought one battle tonight!”.
Rose looked sadly at Jordan. She knew, once again, he would be a target. Eva wanted him back at the castle and would do anything to get him there.
“Jordan, I need you to know something. Although you have had the serum to save you from your vampire bite, you may still crave the venom from Eva. She may use this to lure you back to the castle.”
Jordan took Rose's hand. “Nothing could lure me away from you, my Love. All I want is to get stronger and start a family with you.” He smiled.
