Since the day you came into my life. I've never been in a relationship.
I HAVE NO LOVE LIFE.
But I met and found him unexpectedly. I was confused about my life. I don't know why. Maybe I was there at that time.
I met him when I was in high school. My high school days. He was the type of person that you couldn't see sadness on his face or any kind of problem he had. He was a cheerful and very kind person.
He was Kelly. He had small, charming face, black hair, and rounded brown eyes. He was tall and slim. The first person who knocked on my door and made my heart beat unexpectedly. The person who felt true and honest love.
The first time I was in class, I was nervous. That was really how I was, since every school year brought new classmates. My first day of class was the second day because I was absent on the first day of classes. I sat in front, because I used to sit in the front so that I could understand all our lectures more easily. He was at the back. He was with his friends. They were loud—so loud that it was like they got out of a cage. At that time, I admit that I was annoyed by his presence. How is it that he always notices me? I was the one they got to trip over. Time flies fast these days. It was a sunny afternoon when one of our classmates said something to me. About Kelly. The lion that always bothers me has a secret crush on me. I couldn't believe it. Yeah, I couldn't. But she insisted. They said they talked and asked how close Nina and I were to each other. She has been my classmate since then.
I was always annoyed with him because he was just messing with me. But it was not; I was not angry, and I didn't understand what I was feeling then. There was a part of me that was thrilled. Ever since Nina told me that, I've been even more confused. When Kelly paid attention to me, I felt like I was melting. I was blushing from the nervousness I felt. It was my first time feeling those kinds of feelings that no one could explain, not even me.
Days and months passed quickly.
Everything had changed; he was not messing around anymore like he used to. I noticed that he sometimes looked away when our eyes met. Maybe he was shy.
It was an afternoon when we went home. Kelly and his friends were already ahead. I said goodbye to my friends and told them to go first. I was already outside the gate, so I walked to where there was a ride. While I was walking, I saw some men standing on a wall near our school. I
I was getting closer to them when my hands suddenly shook. I could only hear the beat of my heart when I saw him. I clearly saw their faces because of the light under the moon. I passed them without looking back at him. "Hi Kryptonite!" One of his friends said. "Wait for us". I heard him laugh. My heart beat even faster. I don't know, but I was happy because maybe he waited for me outside the school. I just kept walking because I couldn't turn around or even answer Kyle's question behind me. He spoke again. "You walk so fast; wait for us," Kyle said. I didn't know that I could walk fast now. Because my heart beats so fast.
"You walked slowly, but now it's fast," said Kelly, laughing. We have arrived where I can ride. He even said goodbye to me while waving his hand. I just smiled at him, causing my heart to beat faster, and the joy in my heart couldn't be hidden. It was my first time feeling that kind of happiness, a feeling I couldn't explain. He was the man who made me feel like that—the man who I could say really liked me.
After that night, it all started. As soon as I entered, I smiled secretly because of the sweetness of the smile he was giving me. As soon as he saw me, I noticed that he was still a bit shy and couldn't come near me. So when he smiles, my joy reaches the sky.
In the days that followed, he was always with me, but they were just behind my back. Maybe that was enough for him to keep up with me even though he was two meters away from me.
"Hey Kryptonite, don't leave. Wait for us!" Bell said, cleaning up outside the classroom. I looked at her. I just walked toward the seat.
I suddenly turned around. "Don't leave me." I heard his voice again. I was still stunned because he almost hit me because of my turning. I saw him smiling. His smiles made my heart feel something different. Only he can do this to me. I said to myself. I followed him by sight as he walked away. He turned to me while smiling. I was glad.
Kelly has always been with us since then. While we were walking, we saw a roadblock with a sign saying that we could not pass through it.
What's going on? Asking myself.
"What happened here?" It seemed to be that something happened, so I just asked Bell out of curiosity.
"I don't know; I heard some men got into a fight," she said.
"Just go over there," said a man who was standing slightly on the path that was blocked.
I glanced slightly at him, Kelly. He was talking to his friend, Carlo. I suddenly looked away when he caught me looking. But his smile never left my sight. My heart beat faster.
I wasn't completely comfortable knowing he had my back. Oh my God! I said in my mind. He didn't realize that we had arrived. Bell rode on a Jeep, and before her goodbyes, she even sneered at me. That was crazy of her. Tsk
"Hoooh! I can't sleep!" I've been lying down on my bed, but I still couldn't sleep. Hey, it was annoying. I was thinking about him.
(Flashback) Bell got on the Jeep. I also smiled because of her. She was like a crazy person.
I was the first to walk, and I wasn't really worried because Kelly was just behind Carl.
"Shall we cross to the other side?" he suddenly asked, so I was even more surprised when I realized that he was right next to me. My heart was pounding so hard. He might hear.
