It was dark on the other side of the fence but not in the palace. We made our way to the busy ballroom, the entrance itself was a sight to behold. The great doors remained wide open as we walked in, loud classical music traveling through the large, exquisitely decorated ballroom. Warm orange and purple fairy lights hung from the high ceilings, illuminating the hall with a dark, mysterious vibe.
By now, everyone gliding in and out of the room had their masks on. It was all I could do not to melt into a mess of ecstasy. This looked like something straight out of a fairytale!
