RAYA The cheering continued as Valen stepped down from the platform, disappearing into the crowd again. I cursed my luck. But I knew it wasn't the right time to approach him. All eyes would be on him for a while longer. Just as I expected, he was weaving through the crowd to greet some of the important guests. I knew it was wrong to stare, but I couldn't help myself. My lips curved into a smile as I trailed his movements around the hall, and the butterflies in my stomach multiplied tenfold.
