CHAPTER SEVENTEEN THE REGULAR monthly meeting of the Board of Trustees for the Worldwide Islamic Charities Foundation usually convened on the fourth Tuesday of each month following midday prayers at the Islamic Institute mosque in downtown Chicago, where most WICF trustees were members of the congregation. Nearly all WICF board meetings were held in the corporate offices of Tariq Nasir’s AmeriPAK, Inc. holding company, located not far from the Islamic Institute. So, whenever a WICF trustee was in any way pressed for time, they were invited to offer up daily prayers prior to the meeting in a very nice facility provided for that activity at AmeriPAK headquarters, if they so desired.
