My Ex_Husband's Twin Want Me.
Chapter 1:Sophia Left Damian at The Alter 2 years ago.
The memory still burns her chest as she turn the key in her apartment Lock.
She thought she escaped him.
She thought Alexander twins” was just a ghost story her ex told to scare her.
she was wrong .
Because At 11:47pm a knock hit her door.
Three slow knocks.
The same rhythm Damian use to tap when he was angry
“Sophia” his voice came through the wood. Low. rough .like sin.
“Open the door ,wife .we need to talk about your mistakes.
She didn't open the door.
Two years ago she left Damian standing at the altar, white suit, 300 guest watching, ring still in his palm
She chose Alexander instead.
The “safe” twin the one who didn't look at her like she was fire.
But Damian Never forgot.
And now his voice on the other side of her door proved it.
“I know you” re in there ,
Sophia.
I can hear you breathing.
A pause .
Then softer, the dangerous run again and I will burn this whole building to find you.”
Sofia pressed her palm to the cold wood and whispered back, voice shaking but clear: "I'm not your wife, Damien."
Silence. Then a low laugh on the other side. The kind that wasn't funny.
"Funny," he said. "Because my brother signed divorce papers. But I never did. In my family's eyes, you married us both the day you said 'I do' to him."
The doorknob rattled. Once. Testing. "Say it again, Sofia. To my face. Then run if you can."
Sofia's knees buckled but she didn't fall. Two years of hiding taught her one thing: Damien hated tears. He wanted fear. So she gave him ice instead.
"Touch that door again and I swear I'll scream," she whispered. "The whole compound will hear. Is that what you want, Damien? Your brother's shame broadcasted?"
Footsteps moved closer. His shadow blocked the light under the door. "Scream, Sofia. Let them come. Then everyone will know you belong to me."
The lock clicked. He had a key.
The door swung open slow. Too slow. Like Damien wanted Sofia to see every inch of him before he spoke.
Same black suit from 2 years ago. Same jaw Alexander had. But Damien's eyes... Damien's eyes looked at her like she was stolen property.
Rain dripped from his hair onto her floor. He didn't come inside. Not yet. He just stood in her doorway, blocking the light, blocking her escape.
"Hello, Sofia," he said. That same voice from the altar. "You ran. I chased. Now let's finish our wedding."
Sofia didn't answer. She didn't slap.
She didn't cry.
Two years of hiding taught her one move: run.
She lunged forward, shoulder hitting Damien's chest, and bolted past him into the hallway. Rain + bare feet + pounding heart.
Behind her, Damien's voice cracked like glass: "ALEXANDER WAS RIGHT. YOU ARE STILL MY WIFE." Sofia didn't answer. She didn't slap. She didn't cry.
