Only human in the world can express his emotions, feelings, thoughts, ideas, sorrows, pains, joys verbally and in writing. For this reason, different branches of literature have been created. The Creator says that he created humans in pairs. He gave humans youth to work and to reproduce. In modern civilization, people have chosen different ways of life such as living outside of marriagei,e co habitation, gay-marriage, same-s*x marriage even if those are not acceptable religiously. Then marriage has survived in all societies. Human love is heartfelt, eternal and people love at all ages. The result of this is marriage. As civilization progresses, the breakdown of marriage is increasing and our peaceful life is being disrupted. Since marriage is expected to be between two people, both of them must be sincere to maintain it.Shohag's love was genuine, sincere and heartfelt.Heloved a woman and he tried sincerely to maintain the relationship.Whatever happened between them was not unusual in the present context.Now what are the advantages of marriage.In muslim law a bride is entitled to,Denmohor"in case of divorce, Denmohor refers to Dewar or bride's price.A bride is also entitled to,Kabin, which was fixed prior to marriage.Payment arrangement after divorce depends on various factors including the couple's financial situation, the duration of the marriage, and the grounds of marriage.Usually husband is expected to pay maintenance and alimony to the wife, particularly if she is not earning or has limited financial resources .The amount of maintenance is determined by the court, taking into account the husband's income, wife's needs and the standard of living during the marriage. In western societies particularly in US , the financial obligationd of a groom to a bride in a divorce are complex and vary significantly depending on several factors, including . jurisdiction; Divorce and family law are governed by state or national law and rules differ widely from one place to another.Some jurisdiction follow,"Equitable distribution of assets, while other's adhere to community property law. . Length of marriage ; The duration of marriage is a major factor in determining financial obligation, particularly regarding spousal support.. . prenuptual or postnuptual agreements; These legal contracts can specify how assets and debts will be divided in case divorce. Due to these lengthy procedures of settlement people in western societies don't go for marriage. But people why go for cohabitation? People choose cohabitation to test to test a relationship's long term potential, for the convenience of sharing a household and finances and simply to spend more time together.But what strengthen marriage,i,e, family ties and weakens marriage.In our society family, their home, education, etc are considered most important factors in marriage.But the culture of different regions influence marriage.In some societies, husband, wife, children, parents or father -in -law or mother-in law live together and this is considered a source of family peace.Althogh now a days cross cultural marriages are not uncommon.What happened in case of Shohag and Sonia was that they were from different regions and their culture was different.Sonia used to say to Shohag,"Your parents are not part of our family", which hurt Shohag often.Shohag wanted to live with his elderly parents.In the western societies when a baby is born and turns to three years or four, he is given a separate room where he lives in isolation.When he becomes 18 years old he goes out for livelihood without burdening his parents.He settles far away from home and his parents resulting a distance.So the seeds of error are planted easily in life, the fruits of which are reaped at elderly age in an unpleasant way when carehome becomes the only shelter.The children who settle different parts of the world visit their parents sometimes and spend with them a morning or afternoon and rest of the time the parents live alone. The rituals and traditions in Hindu weddings are deeply symbolic are believed to unite mind and soul of the couple.They emphasize on family,gotra,class, astrology in wedding so that they can choose a perfect couple.But there are exceptions to marriage.According to religion Christian priest,nuns , Hindu sadu or Buddhist monk are precluded from marriage and they are strictly advised to abstain from marrying that can hinder their aceptism.
