Chapter nine

I sat down across from him in the office. He had just told me everything.  His parents had put this sort of clause to avoid confrontation between the brothers where if Leo did not wed or provide a Luna for the pack before a year and a half after he had become alpha that he would surrender power. Leo hadn't wanted to wed just anyone and he was fortunate enough to find me before the time was up, but that is why Johnny resented me. There was no true way of fixing things to make them both comfortable. There could not be two Alphas and because both of them were Alpha blood their parents had decided it would be Leo because he is the oldest. 

So either Johnny got used to the idea or he would be banished. It seemed harsh though. Banished. It kept ringing in my head. I didn't like the idea that things were being rushed and I definitely didn’t like being lied to but not only would I be a huge hypocrite if I said I hadn't lied too and in his defense I never asked him so, he technically didn't lie. It had felt good when he said he didn't wanna be with just anyone. I liked that it was me. 

He broke my bubble “so? Do you forgive me?” I looked at him. I was actually hurt. “Aha” came my response but no, he’d have to work harder than that. I got up and headed outside, I needed to go for a walk. I mind-linked Valentina but she was busy at the training grounds with Ivan and I decided I was gonna head out alone. Now I knew not to cross the border so that shouldn't be a problem. 

I went through the whole pack, making my way to the other side of the town. I was no where near where I was told I could not be. I decided to sit down and I called my father but my mother answered instead. I started telling her everything that was going on. She wanted to give me advice but held back. She said I’d feel better with time and offered comforting words. She then asked me if I still wanted to go through with it. Did I? I hung up not knowing the answer. Hell he hadn't even asked the question and I was already doubting my answer. I was walking back when a pack member seemed to fall down and claimed his leg was hurting so I approached him and tried to move his leg and that is the last thing I remember. 

Leo’s POV

I am sitting in my office, now I am alone. Emma just walked out of here and I swear I heard her heart break as I was telling her everything. I hate how things happened and the worst thing is I wanted to take her on our first date today. I have been so concentrated in getting better and revenge on Optum Town Hunters that I totally forgot to be special with her. I wasn't planning on not telling her is just the topic had never seemed to show up. I didn't really think of it as a problem, I am actually falling in love with her. I haven't been with anyone since I became alpha and I really wanted to make things right by her. Aghh!!!!!

Brian’s POV

I was instructed by Johnny to keep a close eye on our future Luna apparently she loves to get in trouble and he thinks we can assist her with that. 

*Phone rings*

-hello?

-yeah she is talking on the phone. Seems distracted should I do it now?

-ok Let me know

*hangs up*

Leo’s POV

!¿What do you mean you cant find her?! Its been six hours since she stormed out of my office and went for a walk. LOOK BETTER!

¿What the hell happened Jack? I need answers NOW!

Emma’s POV

I wake up my head is hurting and I feel dizzy. I try to touch my face but I'm being held back by a chain. I stop trying and take a moment to observe the place I am in. It seems like dungeons. Am I still at Blue moon pack? I hear someone approaching and I take a deep breath before pretending to still be asleep. I am doing a pretty awesome job until I get slapped. 

“Wake up!”

I hear its a man’s voice and playing dead didn't work so its time to open my eyes and face him.
