Chapter twelve

Leo’s POV 

We are standing at the entrance of the dungeons. My heart is racing as it hadn’t since the accident in town. What the hell was going through Johnny’s mind? Could he have really wanted to be alpha this bad? He didn’t seem like my brother.

I mind linked Jack and told him to wake Ivan up. We are gonna need all the back up we can get.

He nods and starts attempting to do it. We start hearing everything that is going on in there.

They tell her they are going to kill her. Who is this mark person? That won’t happen while I am alive. I shift and look at the rest Valentina follows me and then Jack. At this point Ivan has arrived and He switches too. I am stressed out. I start walking slowly inside and I can hear the, instruct another wold to go grab something. Ivan knocks him out. We stay there awaiting them to come look for him. If we manage to separate them it’ll be easier to conquer. 

I hear Johnny send ridiculously dumb Brian to check on the situation and I decide it’s time to make an appearance. I ask Valentina to mind link Emma letting her know everything will be fine.

Brian make the turn and His surprise face was worth every second of waiting I am slowly approaching him and he sees me face to face. 

He whimpers at the sight not only of my anger but my authority as well. 

If only I could kill him, Valentina does not wait a split second before jumping on him and I face Johnny who has shifted. Behind him is standing my beautiful mate. She looks tired. What have they done to her? The thought of it only crossing my mind makes me angry enough to let my wolf take over the situation. Johnny decides to make a run for it and Ivan and I follow him. 

We catch up to him in the gardens of the pack he turns around to face us he seems exhausted and cornered. 

“You had me followed?- his annoying answer only made it worse.

I wanted to rip his guts out. He could be my brother by blood but I felt him like an enemy right now. I could see Ivan felt the same way but I didn't give that much care into it. We would face each other like the men we were. No better the wolves we were.

I was getting closer but I was being patient. He rambled on how it was his rightful place as well and that he was an alpha too. I was standing face to face with my mates kidnaper and thats all I could see him as. He threw the first hit at me, but missed we began fighting each other. We rolled around several surfaces and I had him grabbed by the neck I managed to weaken him and I let go pulled him up and threw him to the ground as hard as I could, dragged him across the garden. We were making enough noise for everyone to come out. They did and as I was getting ready to kill my brother. I heard a voice direct herself to Ivan and say “taking him to a cell and withhold him with chains” she approached me. A she-wolf with white coat and gray eyes. He is passed out. We’ll deal with him later today. I noticed it was my mate. My wonderful and merciful mate. I started to calm down. She then spoke up and directed herself to the town while I observed Ivan and Jack pull Johnny away into the dungeons. “I know you all deserve explanations as to what you witnessed today and you will get them. But for the rest of the morning we will let out alpha rest.” She looked at me as if instructing me ti speak. I understood and simply stated “everything is calmed for the rest of day, I’ll talk to you soon.” I could see the worry in their faces and some gossiping but I simply shook it off and went into the pack house my mother was in tears and my dad was furious. However I wasn't up to dealing with anybody. I wanted to be with my mate. Finally off to our bedroom together. The way it was supposed to be. She grabbed my hand and led me to it. We entered the room and she smiled at me. She threw herself on me and embraced me with a hug and a kiss. 

“I missed you so much” came the words out of my mouth when we parted the kiss she smiled at me and said “you were all I was thinking about the whole time” she looked at me and smirked. It was naughty and I liked it. She led me to the bathroom and I followed her without hesitating. She turned on the hot shower undressed and went inside, her eyes body mockingly inviting me to join her. I did. The hot water touching our body and the deep kisses that came and went led us to find myself at her entrance one of her legs wrapped around me. I pushed myself softly inside and she moaned in pleasure. I repeated the movement until we were ready to be finished. It was amazing, we were both happy. We continued to cleanse ourselves helping each other. I wanted to mark her so badly but I also wanted to ask her if she was ready. Before I could say anything she said I'm ready to stay. I smiled, it was such an honest smile that I could not remember a time a felt such happiness before her. I stared at her with my stupidly in love face and said, “then, I Leo Russell welcome you Emma White to Blue moon pack” she smiled as we felt our bond tighten. She moved her hair to the side of her neck revealing her marking place. She was allowing me to mark her... wow. She said “are you ready and do you feel comfortable?” I thought the question dumb enough and instead answering I just simply embraced her in a deep kiss and when we parted I revealed my marking spot. I took my fangs out as she tilted her neck and slightly and as gently as I could I marked her. She did the same.  She was mine; My mate and I loved her.

We exited the bathroom with huge smiles in our face and heard a knock...  turkey sandwiches that Solenna had brought in per Emma’s request. We ate our delicious food and got under the covers. I began telling her that apparently mark was Valentina’s mate and she said that it made sense that she had smelled him before but couldn't see him. I told her he was a rogue and we chatted for a while, She asked what I thought should happen and told me we would deal with it together. She checked my wounds and I was no longer red instead my wounds were completely healed. Shifting helped. She turned around to cuddle to me and I was able to see the marks on her back of silver chain burns. Those bastards would pay, no one can hurt my mate and get away with it. She told me a little about what had happened when I left and after a while we just stared at the tv, I kissed her forehead. And finally In that position and while watching tv I fell asleep and this time with my mate by my side.
