Chapter fifteen

Its only around 11am Leo and I are in his office along with Ivan, Jack and Valentina. We are discussing the attack on Optum Town. Now that Leo seems to be healed, they want to go to the town to get Cheryl. Ivan has been going to meet her in random places and knows that even though she was beaten badly and is being held against her will she is still ok. We are thinking about sneaking in and out at mid day when he is working which is why we will have to crate a diversion for everybody to be entertained with so that they can be able to reach her. I also will take this opportunity to hand in my resignation at the hospital. I haven't discussed with Val what she wants to do, but I would love it if she stayed with me. 

We have all come to an agreement on what the procedure is gonna be and after the superiors have come and a sentence on Johnny has been made we have decided that is not very safe to leave the pack, that wouldn't make anybody feel safe. Good thing they should be arriving in two days. Trails usually take about a day, so by this time in 5 days, if everything goes as planned Ivan should be able to introduce Cheryl in the pack. 

We hear a knock on the office door and we all shift out attention at the door as Leo says “come in” its Solenna, “Alpha Lunch is ready to be served, shall I gather everybody?” 

“Yes, Solenna please call our guests we will be there soon.” - Solenna nods and closes the door behind herself. Jack, Ivan and Leo quickly look at each other as if all agreeing to go eat. They get up and fix everything and exit the office, Valentina and I are also about to leave when I grab her arm and while looking at the floor I just tell her “Val, I am gonna be quitting. Im staying here.” She smiles at me warmly and hugs me

“I know silly” she says and I ask her

“what will you be doing?” 

“ I don't know yet, what are my options?” 

“You could continue working, I would talk to my dad. You could go back to Black blood pack or you could stay here with me. Leo said there shouldn't be a problem with us working in the packs hospital. Its huge... I think you would like it.” 

“Those are very serious options. I’ll think about it. But come on I’m getting hungry” she says while she pulls me towards the kitchen where everybody is getting seated. 

At the table there is my mom and dad, Claire and Michael, Solenna, Jack, Ivan, Valentina, Leo and I. We are about to begin eating our delicious looking meal, when we hear a very loud thud. Not even a minute has passed by when everybody that was at the table is now heading in different directions. Val and Ivan headed to the entrance and they mind linked Leo and I saying there were about 60 strange wolfs running towards the pack. Michael, Claire, my mother and father are sent to the office to take shelter. “Apparently we are under attack, please take shelter.” Leo says while instructing solenna via mind link to take them to his office. Leo, Jack and I head towards the front entrance and notice there is a bunch of them about 14 to 20 coming this way and another small group like of five going to the dungeons. “Of course they are here to rescue Johnny” - Valentina says sarcastically. We all shift and adapt positions. The rest of the rogues pack, is attacking and vandalizing our pack but we have over 1000 members if we all unite we can beat them. 

Valentina, Ivan, Leo, Jack, Solenna and I run towards the dungeons. We have instructed the pack to defend themselves at all costs. When we arrive there I take no time in snapping the first Rogue’s neck. There is no time for mercy. I see leo running and taking on another rogue he is fighting him and mark who is now free, I see Jack come to help him while Valentina and Ivan each are fighting a rogue. Solenna is fighting Brian and has him covered so I run towards where I know Johnny is being held. I come across a Rogue freeing him from his cell. However, he is not getting out of the cell. The gets inside as if demanding him to come out “we had a deal” he says. “Not anymore” Johnny replies. As I walk behind the rogue who is facing Johnny and not me I see that even though he noticed me he is not saying anything to alert the Rogue he simply stays put in his cell. I take that second to knock him out and before I can even react I snap his head as well. I am kneeling on the floor over the body of this now lifeless rogue when I look up and As I begin to stand up and am about to open my mouth to warn Johnny he interrupts me saying “no worries Luna I have no intention of escaping my fate. I got here on my own anyway.” I simply nod and leave. As I am going towards where I last saw Leo, I notice that everything is settling down and that the few rogues that are still alive are tied up waiting in front of the pack house surrounded by members of the pack. I see Leo and the rest of the guys. Everybody seems a little injured but nothing to be worried about. He sees me and he hugs me and grabs my hand I cant help but feel powerful.

Leo’s POV

I extend my hand to grab emma, Im so happy she is ok, but I wonder what happened with Johnny so that is the first thing I ask her. I understand her frustration but if she didnt want his blood on my hands I definitely dont want it on hers. She tells me what happened, so I go back inside I think its time to talk to Johnny.
