Chapter four

After that conversation with Leo I decided to accept his request to go to his pack to help care for him, I was just nervous as to what I would tell my father and in order to know what to say to him I had to first figure out what it actually was that I was nervous of telling him. It wasn’t that I was going to quit my job at the hospital, no, I actually have enough vacation time accumulated that I can just take it now and from there figure out what it actually is that I am going to do with Leo. It was more the part where I think about not going back to my home, living in a new pack, I should’ve known this would happen when I met my somebody special but then again, how was I supposed to know this someone special was going to be the alpha of another pack?  

Well, Leo and I haven’t talked about anything specific so...

Oh what the heck I’ll just avoid mentioning anything about a mate to my father for now and just say I signed up to volunteer at another pack. 

I informed Leo of my decision to join him, he was thrilled, Jack on the other hand was not very pleased with me. Leo had told him of the misunderstanding and had apologized on their behalf. I had asked Valentina to come with me just because I didn’t want to be the new one at the pack. I had never considered that I was not only going to be the new one but I also was going to be the Luna of Blue moon pack. 

We had gone to our loft to pack up our stuff for the next couple of weeks, I had never been away for so long so I didn’t know exactly what to pack. All I honestly had was different colors of scrubs. I packed some of those and some limited regular clothe I wore once in a while when we went out to the town. I heard a car honk outside of the building so we headed outside with our small bags, they were waiting for us in two Jeep Wranglers. In one of them there were Ivan another gentleman whose name was unknown to me and in the other jeep there was Jack, and an unknown women and man. I assumed Valentina and I were going together when Ivan stuck his head out the window what are you two waiting for Emma, come with us. Valentina you can go in the other truck. I nodded and we quickly made our way to the cars. Hopping inside I greeted everyone. Good evening Ivan, Hello -to the strange man-, and then I looked at Leo Hi was all I said, as if I were shy. Who was I trying to kid. If you let me I will talk out of my elbows. 

Ivan said “Doc, this is Johnny he is Leo’s brother” I quickly smiled at him as he said “its a pleasure to meet you Doc” I then replied “Likewise but you can call me Emma”. I then turned around to my side to make sure Leo was alright he had placed his head on my legs to follow my directions of traveling laying down according to him. I simply smirked but my wolf was having the time of her life. 

We were about 30 minutes into the ride when, Ivan said “well is anyone planning on addressing the huge elephant in the car”. Johnny, Leo and I looked at him a bit confused. He then added... well are we gonna completely ignore the fact that our future Luna is sitting right here in this car with us. Johnny opened his eyes... to say he was shocked was a bit of an understatement. Leo smiled at me, and slowly grabbed my hand. Nobody said much for like the next 40 mins but I could tell Johnny was no longer pleased to meet me. It was about 7:30 pm when we stopped for food. I grabbed Leo a smoothie and one for myself I did not want to eat much to avoid getting car sick. Ivan, Jack, Johnny, Solenna, Valentina and the unknown guy on the other hand when into the restaurant and grabbed themselves a good meal. So while waiting in the car Leo and I got to talking.

He started saying “So you know a lot about me but I cant say the same” I looked at him, I knew where he was going. He then said “tell me a little about yourself” out of nowhere I felt as if I were at a job interview and got nervous “Well, there isn’t much to tell honestly. I am 25 years old, I am a doctor at Optus Town” he nodded impatiently “I am the daughter of Morgan and Teresa White, Alpha and Luna of Black Blood pack. I have an older brother Julian White. He is 28 years old and he will be taking over Black blood pack when my father is ready to retire” He tilted his head and said “ok, and what do you like?” I was confused, “Vanilla Ice cream” I finally said. He laughed, “Dully noted”. He proceeded to tell me he liked anything with white chocolate in it. That their parents were alive but that his dad had retired a year ago. He is 28 so that must mean he became alpha at 27 I had quickly done the math. We talked about each other’s plans when it came to having a family and how he wanted to grow old. I good thirty minutes had passed when everyone started coming out of the restaurant and getting into the cars. We got on the road again and this time I nodded off. I woke up around 9pm when we arrived at the pack. Everyone was waiting for the cars to enter and as we did everyone started coming out of their homes and cheering for their leader returning. When we arrived at the pack house I was stunned, that was a gorgeous view. From there you could see the whole pack in perspective. Houses were located on little hills and there were gorgeous gardens everywhere. The moonlight was shinning bright as the sky was very clear. There was forest on the limits of the packs territory and soft white lights were lighting the streets. There was one big park in the middle of the town and some families where there with their children buying street food, playing and just chatting between them. 

I turned my gaze back to the pack house, wow that house wasn’t left at all behind. 20 feet wood walls with the most amazing balconies on each side. A huge door tinted glass that acted as a reflective mirror. 

I got out of the car, several men were helping carry Leo out of the car he was being taken to his room. I then heard Ivan by my side saying “Luna, I’ve been instructed to escort you to your bedroom” I smiled and thanked him. We walked up the flight of beautiful stairs and turned left. He opened a very high door and behind it was the most amazing bedroom I’ve ever seen before. I was stunned, he told me that If I needed anything to tell him and he gave me his phone number. He was about to close the door when I stopped him “actually Ivan, I’m kinda hungry” I said. He smiled and asked me if I wanted to come down or if I wanted him to bring me something I asked for a turkey sandwich and some milk. He nodded and closed the door behind him. I took this time to appreciate everything in the room. It was so modern... a king sized bed. A huge tv. White dimmable lights in the room. Floating night stands on each side. The most soft feeling mat on each side of the bed and don't even get me started with how beautiful the bathroom is. I went to unpack my clothe in the wooden closet when I opened it I noticed that there were mens clothe there; at this point Ivan knocked “Come in” he had a two floor turkey sandwich and a vanilla shake on his tray. “Leo said you liked things vanilla” he said. I smiled a bit embarrassed. I then asked him about the clothe in the closet. He explained to me that this was Leo’s and my bedroom. I asked him then where was leo. He said he had gotten diverted into the office. I was mad. He had just returned and he was already working. I asked Ivan to take me to the office he asked me if I was sure and hell yeah I was. 

We went down the stairs and to the right I knocked on the door and before he could even say come in, I entered. To my surprise Leo’s parents were there with Leo and Johnny who seemed to be in a bit of a heated discussion.
