As I pulled into the driveway, I received a text. Thinking it was from Candice, seeing as she wanted me to text her when I got home, I pulled it out to text her back but noticed it was from a number I didn't have saved in my phone.
When I opened the message, my heart started to beat faster, and butterflies filled my stomach while heat spread across my cheeks.

The moment I saw his name, I read the message again before really noticing the smile that spread across my face. It had been a long time since someone called me beautiful. The butterflies and the giddy feeling I had caught me by surprise. But in a good way.
I opened my car door to head inside thinking of what I should text back, or IF I should text him back.
