-Get up! And get to work, lazy bastards..- the head maid, named Dora, shout out to all of us. She was really fearsome, and i am quite certain : always in a bad mood. Have never seen her smile. And wrinkles on her face have carved a path of her constant displeasure. She had her usuall outfit on, which was an upgraded maid uniform i presume. She wore a long linen dress with long sleeves and a vest on top of it. Her hair was tied up in a bun and glasses sitting perfectly on her crooked nose. Me and 10 other girls on the contrary were under her fearfull and always and all seeing eyes. We had our own uniforms, which was as well floor -long linen dress , with long sleeves, vest included and a white apron , that showed our status in this place. We had to wear a headcover to secure that our hair strands don't end up in food or anywhere else. Thankfully we were allowed to wash and use soap, so that was not as bad as in other kingdoms, as the rumours whisper. We were awaken with the first sun and work ended with the last light. But the work didn't end there, we had to keep our work garments clean and neat at all costs. Noone wanted to end up sold to other kingdom as it has happened before. We all jumped out of our beds and got dressed. We took a place in a line and listened carefully as our work was assigned to each of us. Today i am in the first floor with Lisa and that means loads of work. But i' m happy because i and Lisa get along great. Not to mention we both come from the same village - Winddale and have been here since the attack on our village , which is 8 years ago.
