The War of Love

Hi I’m belle and this is my story.... It all started on my 18th birthday. I woke like I do most morning. Another day of feeling like this will never end. I got dressed and washed my face. Crying at the pain of the cuts and bruises on my face from the night before. Blood poured from a deep cut. It didn’t seem to want to heal. I ran my fingers over the wound still red and raw. It hurt to touch. Suddenly I heard the bell and my whole body shook. They are awake. As quick as I could I ran upstairs to the kitchen and prepared the packs breakfast. I cut up fresh fruit and made pancakes from scratch. I could hear them all getting ready someone was coming down the stairs. Quickly I set the table and poured the juice into jugs. And put the coffee in the pots. As I reached for the pancakes to place on the table I felt a hand across my back tracing my spine. My body froze. I felt the colour drain from my face. ‘Hello love’ was all he needed to say. Jason was here. He was the alpha son and could get away with anything. Like he had last night. I felt tears form in the corners of my eyes. I forced them back and smiled ‘Good morning’. He smiled like he knew I was his play thing and there was nothing I could do. He sat at the table and waited for me to pour his coffee. I slowly walked to his side and poured his drink. He put his arm round my waist and acted as though nothing had happened.There was voices in the hallway the alpha was here. Alpha Damon used to be a great alpha until he thought my father betrayed him. Then I became their slave. And had to endure hours of pain and suffering. From the whole pack and there was nothing I could do. Everyone in the pack had met their wolf by the time they was 16 years old. But I had never met mine. They called me the wolf less one. I was a laughing stock. It hurt I had never met her. My mum told me before She died my wolf will be as special as me. I always hoped my wolf would arrive to save me and I could let her take control. I could escape. Escape had become a pipe dream. I had attempted multiple times. I always got caught never made it past the front gate. Back to the present I rushed to get the alphas coffee ready. Last time I didn’t get it ready I got a beating. The whole pack joined in. The alpha sat down just as I poured his coffee. ‘Belle you will be in your room tomorrow all day we have company coming and I don’t want you anywhere they can see you. You must clean the whole pack house till it sparkles today ready for them’. I muttered ‘yes alpha I understand’. And carried on my chores. Cleaning the whole kitchen from top to bottom. Suddenly I heard a scream the Luna was here. ‘WHERE IS MY COFFEE!’ I rushed in and poured it. She slapped me. ‘Why was my coffee not ready.’ I stuttered ‘I’m sorry’ she ignored me and started putting pancakes on her plate. I went back to the kitchen and cleaned the sides. I could hear the alpha talking. ‘ the red moon pack are coming tomorrow everything has to be perfect. We need them to give us more land. With out their help the rogues will take over our plans to expand our lands’ ‘belle get started on cleaning the pack house. Start in my office now’ I rushed to clean his office. Suddenly there was a knock on the front door. We wasn’t expecting anyone till tomorrow. Luna answered the red moon pack was here already. ‘Good morning hope we haven’t intruded. We thought we would come early to check out your grounds for the expansion’ Luna replied ‘ you are of no intrusion at all I will get alpha. And you can go to his office’ As the strange man approached. I could feel an intoxicating smell take hold of me. Forcing me forwards. Suddenly someone grabbed me and dragged me back to my room. And locked me in. ‘You will stay here till alpha says otherwise’ I sat on my bed and waited. I knew it was going to be a long wait. I felt strange like something had shifted. ‘Hello I’m Jade. I’m your wolf. You can’t shift just yet we are too weak. But happy birthday.’ I smiled she was finally here. It was about time.... I have dreamed of the day my wolf would talk to me. I didn’t expect it to happen on my 18th birthday. I thought I was wolf less as everyone meets their wolf by the time they are 16. I wonder what had caused her to stay hidden until now. I looked around my room. It was nothing special it was just a bed and a chest of drawers. No tv. A stack of books in the corner. A window facing the sea. It was a lovely view. My wolf whispered ‘can you smell that. It’s our mate’ I could smell it. it was strong like chocolate orange. It started to fade he was walking away. I wonder if I will ever meet him. ********** I woke up another long day. Running the new moon pack was tiresome work. I had only become the alpha 2 weeks before now. As my father had passed away. We was still looking for the wolf that killed him. We aren’t sure who or why they attacked but it happened so quick and we wasn’t prepared. We won’t make that mistake again. I felt someone trying to mind-link me. It was Derek my beta. Loyal and trustworthy. ‘Morning alpha. Breakfast is ready. And I have to go though the itinerary with you’ I yawn straight down to busy. ‘Be down in ten just showering. Be there when I get down.’ I closed the mind link and got up to shower it’s going to be a long day. I showered and got dressed. Not into anything fancy black top jeans and trainers. I leave my room and head to the dining hall. Everyone must have heard me come if and was stood up waiting. I sat at the top of the table the alphas chair. Everyone sat and Derek read me the itinerary for the day. ‘Prepare for travel to red moon pack. Meet alpha arrange for them to have more land for their loyally’ I start eating pancakes and eggs and bacon my favourite. Not like the way mother made them but still I ate it. I finished my breakfast. ‘ get the car ready we leave in ten minutes.’ And when to my office to get the deeds to the land the red moon pack want. I breathe slowly I hate this. I hate handing out land for loyal but I need the people and man power. We maybe the biggest pack around but the amount of packs we protect. It takes a tow on our numbers. I head to the car. It’s going to be a long day. Hopefully nothing interrupts my plans. After a long drive we finally reach the pack house of the red moon pack. It is horrible looking looks run down. As tho no one lives here but I can smell wolfs everywhere. It’s eerie. We came a day early to see how there are under pressure. It’s the best way to see if we can trust them. As we walk up to the door. My beta knocks on. Someone answers. Dereks says ‘Good morning hope we haven’t intruded. We thought we would come early to check out your grounds for the expansion’ Luna Charlotte replied ‘ you are of no intrusion at all I will get alpha. And you can go to his office’ I head into the main hall not sure which way to go when Charlotte says ‘I’m Luna Charlotte it’s lovely to meet you Alpha Liam if you follow me I will show you the office’ as we follow her I can smell something that I have never smelt before it was like a summers day. Like a sunflower. It was getting stronger as we was reaching the office then suddenly it appears to disappear. My wolf spoke ‘ our mate is near’ she was here somewhere but where. But first onto business. The alpha entered the office. Now to discuss the expansion. Let’s see how this goes. Hopefully we will find our mate while we are here as well.
