THE ALPHA PACK
THE ALPHA PACK: BLOOD OATH*
The snow hadn’t stopped falling in 3 days.
On the edge of the Blackpine Mountains, 7 wolves stood at the cliff.
Not wolves. Shifters.
And in the middle of them stood him.
*Kael Varga. The Alpha.*
6’4. Scar across his jaw. Eyes like storm clouds.
He didn’t raise his voice. He didn’t have to.
When Kael spoke, the pack obeyed. Or they died.
Behind him: his pack. His family. His war.
*Rook* - Beta. Kael’s right hand. Loyal to death.
*Sera* - The tracker. Could smell a lie from 2 miles away.
*Draven* - The enforcer. Broke bones for fun.
*Mira* - The healer. Soft hands, steel spine.
*Jax & Cole* - The twins. Fast. Ruthless.
They were called *The Varga Pack*.
And for 10 years, no one touched their territory.
Until tonight.
---
*"They took her."* Rook’s voice was low.
Kael didn’t move. Snow landed on his shoulders and melted.
"Who?" His voice was gravel.
"The Red Claw Pack. Alpha Doran. They took Lyra."
The pack went still.
Lyra.
17 years old. Kael’s younger sister.
The only light in their world of blood.
She was supposed to be safe at the den.
Kael finally turned. His eyes were empty.
"Get the trucks."
"Alpha," Sera stepped forward. "Doran has 40 men. We’re 7."
Kael looked at each of them. One by one.
"We are not 7," he said. "We are one pack.
And no one takes what’s ours."
A growl went through all of them.
---
*2 HOURS LATER. RED CLAW COMPOUND.*
Guns. Fences. Floodlights.
Doran was waiting on the balcony, with a smirk.
And Lyra. Kneeling. Hands tied. Lip bleeding.
"Kael!" Doran yelled. "I heard you wanted your pet back."
Kael stepped out of the shadows. Alone.
The twins flanked left. Rook right. The others behind.
"Let. Her. Go." Kael said.
Doran laughed. "Or what? You’ll cry? Your pack is weak, Varga."
That was his last mistake.
Kael didn’t roar. He didn’t shift.
He moved.
In 4 seconds, 3 of Doran’s men were on the ground.
Rook took the sniper. Draven broke the gate.
Sera was already running to Lyra.
It was chaos. Blood on snow.
But the Varga Pack didn’t fight like individuals.
They moved like one body. Like one heartbeat.
That’s what made them alpha.
When it was over, Doran was on his knees in front of Kael.
"Please—"
Kael crouched. Put a hand on Doran’s head. Gentle.
"You touched my sister."
Snap.
---
*BACK AT THE DEN. NIGHT.*
Fire in the hearth.
Lyra was wrapped in blankets. Mira checking her wounds.
Kael sat on the floor next to her. No crown. No alpha mask.
Just a brother.
"You’re okay," he whispered.
Lyra nodded, crying. "I knew you’d come."
Rook tossed him a bottle. The whole pack sat in a circle.
No speeches.
Just 7 people. Covered in blood, snow, and loyalty.
Because an alpha isn’t the strongest.
An alpha is the one who would burn the world down for his pack.
And a pack is the one who would burn with him.
*Kael raised the bottle.*
"To blood. To loyalty. To us."
All 7 voices answered:
*"TO THE PACK."*
