Premonition

Stretching and uttering a loud sigh, Kieran looked around before plumping down on the empty couch beside him. He laid flat on his back with both his hands under his head. He glanced over at the other side of the sitting room while crossing his legs straight on the couch. "So we are to be protecting this house and Raven from tonight until we know what Rayne is looking for, what is making him come here?" He asked, staring at Kreed and Raven who sat cuddled next to each other at the other side of the room. "Yeah" Kreed nodded with a still serious look. He hadn't gotten over the fight between him and Rayne. "I don't need protection you guys" Raven stated "Yeah you do. We don't know what his motives are for now. It's better to be safe than sorry" Kreed explained "But I don't think he'll harm me. He's my brother......well, half brother" "I'm sure that's exactly what your mom and dad said right before he tsk tsk...you know" Kieran pointed out. "Be sensitive Kieran" "Yeah sure...." He rolled his eyes, looking away from them to the roof. "So you got your ass handed to you huh?" He blurted out. "That's.....damn" He shook his head mockingly, knowing that would piss his twin off. "Shut up! You weren't there. If I had known his abilities and weakness or used my ability on him, the outcome would have been different" Kreed argued "Yeah yeah...whatever you say" Kieran quipped "I am stronger than you which means he would have pulverized you if it had been you" Kreed went on angrily. "But it wasn't me. It was our strongest academy Direwolf...and he got his hands on you....and easily, from what I hear. He kept picking on his older twin while still laid down on the couch with his legs crossed. Kreed was about to say something when Raven held him swiftly, stopping him. She shook her head, urging him to not say nothing else. Kreed exhaled quietly, getting his worked up emotions in check. He felt like his pride was brought down a little when he fought Rayne. Granted it didn't last up to five minutes but to him, he felt as though he had lost it. Jerking him out of his thoughts was Raven's warm palm on his face. Feeling her touch immediately brought peace to his heart and he smiled softly. He felt his anger dissipate instantly. He placed his palm on her hand on his face. She flashed him a smile right before kissing him, a deep long and passionate kiss. Kieran who had been observing the whole senerio play out before him, turned away from them as they began to kiss. He felt his chest tighten, his smile faded immediately. He waited a few more seconds but they weren't stopping and it was making his heart skip some beats. With that he stood, straightend his blue denim jacket and started heading for the exit. "Where are you going?" Kreed called after him. "I want to check the surroundings one more time" He replied and then looked over at Raven who's eyes were on him also. She saw the look in his eyes and immediately realized why he was leaving. She knew he felt uncomfortable when seeing her kiss his twin brother, with all they have going on, the situation they were in, she knew he would be jealous. Her eyes dimmed with sadness when he stepped out and shut the door. *** Standing beside the Alpha, Tessa watched as the Omegas were fully covering the grave where the elder had just been buried. She and the Alpha both stood there in silence, as well as other wolves present to watch her get buried. Safe for the sound of the shovels digging up sand and sounds of birds and crickets chirping, nothing else was heard through out the whole process of burying her. No one needed to say a thing. Their thoughts were heard clearly because they all had the same thought, same fear and same questions. 'Who murdered the elder and why?' that was the question in everyone's head. Tessa felt someone hold her wrist softly from behind. She turned to see who it was and realized it was the elder's apprentice who was supposed to take after the elder. Luckily she survived having the same fate as her teacher & mentor just because she was out to get some supplies. She gestured for Tessa to follow her silently. Tessa complied and followed her away from the gathering quietly. They walked farther until they were out of earshots before stopping. "What is going on Maryanne?" Tessa questioned with furrowed brows. "I have a message to deliver to you and you alone. The elder was suppose to tell you herself but here we are. She wanted your ears to hear it alone and then choose to tell anyone you wanna tell on your own" "What is it?" She asked impatiently, thinking it was going to be something bad. Her heartbeat was increasing already. "She saw a vision. The last vision she saw before she was....." Maryanne paused, her pause adding to the tension Tessa was feeling. "Your sons..." "What about them?" She cut in abruptly. "Love and Death.....love will drive one of your sons to the darkness....and the dead will come back to haunt" Tessa stared blankly at Maryanne, thinking deeply about what she just heard. Her heart was beating rapidly. "I....I....I don't..." She stuttered, unable to find words. Her sons were her world, her everything and her only connection to her dead mate. She couldn't afford to lose any one of them. "Wha....what does that mean Maryanne?" She asked with urging eyes. "I don't know. That was all she told me" She replied "But what I do know is that.... something terrible and evil is coming and if it comes it will leave death and destruction in it's wake" She added "There has to be a way to prevent all of that from happening" Tessa bobbed her head, running her finger through hair, trying to look hopeful. "For all of our sakes, I really hope so" *** With his mask still on his face, hiding his identity, Kane watched on as Cicada put on their signature black hoodless robe with a red outline going all over it. Just then Storm walked in, she was in the same outfit. She walked over to where Kane was and stood beside him. "Are we ready?" She asked calmly "Almost" Kane replied with his deep low voice. "So why the mask? Do we get one too?" Cicada questioned with a smirk while zipping up his robe. "No. I have my reasons for the mask" "So what are doing first? I joined this group because you promised me chaos and also because you promised me the head of that fraud Alpha, Damien. So which one are we doing first? I don't mind doing both at the same time" He made a menacing chuckle whilst roughing up his short dark hair. "You'll get your chance" Storm said to him, staring directly at him, though she was more focused on the little scar across the bridge of his nose. It was clear he got it when he wasn't a wolf yet or it would have healed up. And there was something menencing about him she didn't find comfortable. Plus he was buffed, a lot more buffed than Kane. "Whatever you say gorgeous" He smirked at her "It's time to move out. We have one more member to add before we go into Bluestone pack and make our first move, setting off the chain reaction for chaos" Kane explained and began walking toward the door. "Welcome to the Red Lotus" He added as he walked past Cicada. Cicada smiled mischievously at Storm. She shook her head at him before following Scar's footprints out the door. "Interesting" Cicada muttered before following with them, trying to get used to the rebel life he just joined, but had no idea what to expect. *** Walking into the cave where they usually held their secret meetings, Axle and Blue, headed straight to the seat where Scar was sitting with a blank expression as though he was planning evil in his mind. He caught the presence of two of his members who just walked in, but he didn't acknowledge their presence for a while. After almost a minute, he looked over at them and asked the obvious question."Where is it?" "We can't find it and neither was the elder of any use to us. So we had to take her out" Blue explained "So you came up empty. Two things and none where found" He sighed with disappointment and stood up. "Let's hope Rayne has more luck" "He should be returning very soon" Axle pointed out. "If none of you can, then I will go myself and retrieve them both....I don't care if I have to burn the academy or the whole town down* He concluded and walked away, leaving them there.
