First Move

Punching into the chest of one of the wolves, Kreed ripped out his heart, immediately grabbed him and threw him against the other two coming toward him. He looked down at his hands and claws and they were dripping with blood. He looked over at his twin and saw him snapping the neck of a wolf. He shifted his gaze to Diamond and she was taking down two wolves on her own, ripping out their throats.

The school compound had quickly turned into a battlefield with lots of dead bodies and blood covering the terrain. Seeing how the twins, principal and teachers were out fighting the intruders, that gave the other students the courage and boldness to join in. In no time it had become a bloodbath.

Killian slided on the ground, clearing off one of the Betas and immediately the Beta landed on his back, Killian swiftly dug his claws into the neck of the Beta and ripped his throat off. He swiftly stood up just in time to dodge the incoming kick by another Beta behind him. He leaned back again, dodging the punch that followed. He immediately began exchanging hands with the Beta who seemed fast enough to match Killian's speed.

Diamond acrobatically jumped on one of the wolves, pinning her head between her thighs in the air. She followed immediately by digging her thumb claws into the glowing eyes of the Beta, blinding her. As she screamed in horror from being blind, Diamond did a flip with her still pinned head and snapped the shewolf's neck midair.

Kreed pulled the hands of the huge wolf, pulling them out of their sockets. The wolf growled. Being that huge placed him at a disadvantage against Kreed who was way faster than him. With both his hands useless, Kreed let go and landed a spin kick on his neck, sending the wolf to the ground and without hesitation, he used his boot to stomp on the neck of the wolf, shattering the bone in his neck and ending his life.

Kieran swiftly sidestepped, avoiding the claws of both shewolves who were attacking him Simultaneously. He kept giving them a taunting smile as he easily dodged their attacks continuously. This pissed off the girls more and they rushed him fully head on. Falling into Kieran's trap without knowing, he caught the punch of one of them twisted her arm and immediately used her as a shield against the other who was coming with a forceful kick, a kick that ended up landing on her ally's rib, cracking it.

The shewolf cried out in pain from her broken rib. Kieran swiftly began breaking her claws one after the other, causing her to be in more pain. As soon as he was done he grabbed her by her neck and simultaneously blocked the other's claws and grabbed her by her neck too. He slammed both of them together causing them to feel dizzy from their heads smashing together. He then followed with lifting them up and slamming them hard on the ground. They coughed loudly from the impact, spitting out blood and their heads bleeding also.

He punched Into the chest of the one with broken claws, grabbed and squished her heart, ending her life. Before he turned to the other, she had managed to force herself up, she immediately grabbed Kieran, wrapping her weak arms around his neck and trying to choke him. Kieran was about to easily yank off her hand and end her when he came up with a thought instead. "Kreed!" He called loudly, acting like he was struggling. "A little help here" He added as soon as Kreed answered his call.

Without hesitation, Kreed dashed to where they were and snapped the girl's neck from behind, causing her grip to loosened. Kieran coughed as Kreed helped him up. "Thanks, that was overwhelming" He quipped.

"I can't believe you had to call your brother to save you from a bunch of girls. Why the hell are you training with my father then?" Diamond teased, coming up to them.

"Those were some strong girls" He smiled.

They looked around and saw that the enemies had began retreating. The ones that were left, running as fast as their legs could take them out the compound. They had seen the damage they were taking plus they were outnumbered ten to one. "They are retreating!" One of the students yelled out and they all began cheering joyfully, happy for their success and for winning.

"I don't understand, did they expect to clean out the school and win with just those few men? Surely they would know it's not possible with the numbers we have" Ace stated with a puzzled look.

"Yeah" Diamond agreed

"I don't think they came with the idea of winning...." Kieran pointed out.

"What do you think?" Kreed asked, shifting his attention to his twin.

"I think they came to test our defenses and scout out our pack. The school is the heart of our pack and the center of it all. If the students should fall, then taking the rest of our pack won't be hard. So if anything, this implies that they've began making their moves" He explained

"Kieran is right..." The principal chipped in, walking toward them while folding his sleeves higher. "They came to test the defenses of the school. They've made their move now so we should be ready for anything and be expecting their attacks which will come with more force than this"

"We have to inform the Alpha and his right hand so we could all prepare as a pack. But in the meantime, what should we the students do?" Kreed inquired.

"First we need to tighten our security round the school, then secondly we need to select all the strong wolves that can fight from the rest of the students so we can know our fighting power" Said the principal.

"That sounds like a plan" Killian nodded.

"Seeing as you three are the only Direwolves in this school and the strongest, I'm putting you in charge of selecting the fighting students. Kreed is the strongest so you're the leader, Kieran and Diamond will assist you" He instructed

"Understood" Kreed nodded with a stern expression. He was ready to carry out his orders diligently without failing. He knew the principal has a lot of trust for him and being the strongest wolf in the school, he knew there would be a lot of pressure on him, but he wasn't going to back down and he's going to make sure the school stands.

"Alright leader, what do we do?" Kieran asked with a smirk on his lips.

Kreed looked around and saw that all the students have began gathering around them, staring at him and waiting for him to say something, to give his orders. He glanced at the principal and the principal nodded his approval to him before walking away, leaving the works to his trusted students. The teachers said nothing nor objected. They followed the principal away also.

"Alright. First, let's clean up these mess and fix the damages done" Kreed finally ordered.

"Alright you heard the man! Skedaddle!!" Kieran called out loudly and the students scattered to different directions to carry out the order.

Principal Mosley stared silently at the Alpha and his right hand as they seemed deep in thoughts. He had broken the news of school attack to them and their reaction showed they were surprised and was not expecting the attack so soon. "They have made their first move which means they are ready to attack fully" Alpha Damien pointed out.

"What do we even know about them?" The Alpha's right hand, Alpha Tessa, questioned with a quizzical gaze.

"We know they have a large number of wolves behind them" Said the principal.

"They call themselves the Red Lotus. I've been secretly making some findings about them" The Alpha stated.

"The 'Red Lotus'?" Alpha Tessa c****d her brow. "Are they suppose to be the replacement of the Black Lotus group of years ago? That's nothing but a cheap knockoff" She stated, feeling pissed.

"What they choose to call themselves isn't the issue now. The issue is their plan and goal. Their goal is to finish what the Black Lotus couldn't finish then, just that this time, their target isn't the normal wolves but us the Direwolves and every wolf that is involved with us" Alpha Damien explained.

"That is going to be a problem. Considering their numbers" Tessa pointed out.

"So first we have the group, Kemuri, and now we have the Red Lotus also. Things are starting to heat up pretty fast" Said, principal Mosley.

"No one knows what the Intentions of the so called Kemuri are. We haven't been able to find anything about them. They are so secretive and smart. All we know is that Rayne, Raven's brother became a member after he was exiled from the pack. That's about it concerning information on them" The Alpha stated

"If we could track down Rayne, we might be able to use him and find out more about the group" Tessa suggested

"Rayne is the smartest wolf to ever come out from our pack. He's a prodigy, has a high IQ, strong and also very calculative, I doubt we can find him if he doesn't want to be found" Said the Alpha.

"Even at that, the pack would not want him to set foot in this town again. He was exiled for a reason. You know, you passed the judgement yourself. No one would want someone who committed g******e back to the town. And moreover, this Red Lotus are the current threat" Principal Mosley explained.

"You're right. We need to deal with the most urgent issue first. Three days from now, we are holding a pack meeting. Before the meeting, we are going to spend most of our time in the war room, coming up with strategies and plans so we have something to tell the pack and calm them down"

"Alright Alpha" Principal Mosley nodded in agreement. Alpha Tessa nodded her approval also.

(Three Days Later)

The doorbell rang once more just before she heard the door clicking and then Kieran pulled the door open. "Raven!" He called with surprise on seeing her. "I thought it was you when I was coming to answer the door and started feeling that link" He added, smiling and staring at her blank face.

Without saying a word, Raven closed the space between them, grabbed him by his jacket, pulled him to her and planted a deep kiss on his lips. His eyes shot open with shock and disbelief. The kiss felt like forever to him. He wanted to stop it but he couldn't move, and he was actually enjoying it, causing him to give in and return the kiss.

After a while of Intense kissing, Raven finally broke it with her eyes still fixed on his confused ones that was housing lots of questions. She said nothing still. Kieran was about to say something when he heard the hurrying footsteps of his twin. "Did you say Raven?" Kreed questioned, coming behind Kieran and then seeing his girlfriend and mate. "You're back" He stated, relieved and happy.

Still not saying a word, Raven made her way into the house, moved past Kieran and got to where Kreed was. She grabbed his tee-shirt and pulled him to her and locked lips with him also, kissing him passionately as she did with Kieran few seconds ago.

Although Kreed felt happy, he was confused as well. He didn't waste time in accepting the kiss though. Whilst still engaged in the lip lock, he glanced over at Kieran and saw that Kieran had a more shocked look. He didn't understand why.

Kieran was taken aback by the actions she just displayed. The questions he had, doubled and his confusion grew as he watched on as she was still kissing his twin brother. After some seconds also, she broke the kiss and smiled for the first time since her return. She smiled at Kreed who was still catching his breath, and then turned to face Kieran, flashing him a smile also. "You've got to be kidding me" Kieran muttered to himself silently, realizing the trouble she was about to start.
