(Two Years Later)
Seated around the table in the Alpha’s meeting quarters, the Alphas stole glances at each other in silence. They had been seated for a minute now and still Tessa hadn’t said anything. She just kept staring into the distance with her mind far gone. She had called for the meeting and they had honored her invitation like they’ve been doing for the past two years she had been the new Alpha of her pack. Being a Direwolf and an Alpha, they had respect for her strength but not all of them were happy a Direwolf was in a position of power.
Clearing her throat loudly, Alpha Cora drew the attention of everyone including Tessa. She smiled when all eyes were on her and then said. “If we could please get on with the meeting. I have a pack to run”
