Standing facing the bookshelf in his office, Alpha Damien was lost in thoughts. The words being said behind him were all muffled sounds. He couldn't turn off the worries he had. He couldn't take his mind off the fact that his Luna had been taken. He kept trying to think of reasons why they would come after her but he had none. He tried to think of what she might be going through at that moment or what they might be doing to her but he couldn't.
The fact that they came straight to his home and took her felt disrespectful to him. It felt like they didn't see him as a threat at all, neither did they care that they were walking into the Alpha's house and kidnapping his Luna. 'Just how strong are they for them to not care how dangerous that was' He thought to himself. He sighed, his heartbeat beating a little faster than usual.
Through the pack meeting earlier, he had been worried when he didn't see his daughter but now that he had confirmed that she was with her friends, he was a little relaxed. But still, he knew he had to be more alert now and he had to keep a close eye on her. Who knows who they might come for next. They might come for his daughter and he wouldn't be able to bear losing her too. She's the only reason he's being able to keep a straight head at that moment.
"Alpha!" The loud call of his name, snapped him out of his thoughts.
"Sorry?" He replied, turning to face them. "I was lost in my head for a moment" He added, giving them his full attention now. "What is it?"
"Niklaus was just suggesting that what they might be after the members of the Black Lotus" Tessa stated
"Why do you think that?" The Alpha turned to him with furrowed brows.
"I don't know. I'm just saying. So far, we haven't been able to come up with a reason why they would want to come after the Luna. Looking into her past, the only thing of interest was her being a member of the Black Lotus. Maybe that's the reason" Niklaus explained
"But if that's the reason, why would they want the Black Lotus for?" Principal Mosley inquired.
"That I do not know"
As they kept on going back and forth about it, Tessa fell into deep thoughts as she revisited the night she was paid a visit by the leader of Kemuri. The familiar presence and emotions she felt from him. It was a familiar feeling because that's what she felt around her mate, Kieran and her brother Silas. Those scents, feelings and emotions were burnt into her heart and memory. "Hey Tessa!" The Alpha's voice broke through her reverie. "Do you have anything to share with us?" He asked
"No...not really" She shook her head, oblivious of Niklaus who was staring at her unconvincingly. "But I was thinking, if they really are going after members of the Black Lotus then there's only one member left, and that's you" She stated.
"Yeah I know that. From our group then, the only survivors are Freya and I. Now they've gotten Freya and the only person left is I. If they really are coming after the survivors of the Black Lotus, then it is I they'll be coming after next, which means we know their next move and can prepare against it. This might be an opportunity to take them out of the picture" Said the Alpha
"So does this mean that the Red Lotus are behind it?" Principal Mosley inquired with a puzzled look
"We won't know for sure until we come face to face with them"
"So for now what do we do?" Tessa asked
"For now, Principal Mosley and Niklaus would put together a special elite group consisting of the strongest wolves we have. They will be trained vigorously and heavily so they can become as strong as they can be. They will be our ace, our trump card against these groups"
"Alright. Leave it to us" Principal Mosley nodded
"I have one more thing to say...." Niklaus started, coming out from the corner he had been standing. He moved closer to where the others are seated and stood next to them.
"What is it?" The Alpha inquired with a curious look.
"I think we have a spy within the pack" He announced.

Turning on his bed for the umpteenth time, Kieran sighed with frustration. Since they got home, he had been trying to fall asleep the whole night but to no avail. His head was clouded with thoughts. He was too worried to relax. He laid on his back, staring at the roof in silence. He tried to clear his mind of the thoughts causing him unrest but it wasn't working either. Accepting defeat, he pushed the bedcovers off his body and sat up.
He stretched and then got up to his feet. Standing there shirtless and just in his grey sweatpants. He stared at the wall for a few seconds before deciding to go get himself a bottle of water from downstairs. The whole house was quiet, so it seemed everyone was asleep. Careful not to wake anyone up, he stepped out of his room quietly. He stared at Kreed's shut door, wondering if Tessa was in there with him. Thinking about it upset him and made him jealous.
He continued on his journey downstairs, taking light steps. Climbing down the stairs, he heard movement coming from the kitchen, followed by a heartbeat. Taking another step, he knew who it was as he began feeling the mate bond and catching a whiff of her scent. He paused and wanted to go back up to his room but decided against it. If they were gonna be staying together for a while, he knew they couldn't avoid each other for long.
Heaving a deep sigh, he continued down and seconds later, he came face to face with Raven in the kitchen. She was holding a bottle of water and was leaning against the kitchen counter. Kieran came to a halt on seeing her standing there in nothing but an oversized white Tshirt that stopped midthigh. He recognized the Tshirt to be his twin brother's own but that wasn't what got him staring. Her exposed thighs and legs was what got his attention.
"Hey" She called, catching him staring but decided to act as though she didn't.
"Hey" He shook his head and continued on his way. He walked over to the refrigerator and pulled it open. "Can't sleep?" He asked, fishing out a bottle of water.
"No. I'm guessing same goes for you"
"Yeah" He shut the refrigerator and turned to leave."Alright Nighty night" He concluded and was about to leave when she swiftly reached out and grabbed his arm.
"Wait!" She called, stopping him and then immediately looked away shyly. He stopped and turned to face her. "Look....I know you're mad at me...."
"I'm not mad at you, I'm just confused" He cut in, dropping his bottle water on the kitchen counter.
"So am I Kieran" She replied with a yearning look
"What do you mean?" His eyes fixed on hers.
"I don't know what to do, I don't know what I want, I don't know what I'm feeling, I don't know....." She was cut off by his lips pressing hers. She immediately sank into the kiss, her hands finding their way up and cupping his face. His hands found her small waist. He wrapped his hands around her and pulled her closer into him with their kissing deepening.
It felt as though they had been kissing forever until Kieran broke the kiss. They both stood in silence for a few seconds, catching their breaths. "I...." She wanted to say something but stopped herself immediately. She stared directly into his eyes some more, her eyes glistening.
He kept waiting for her to say what she wanted to say but nothing came out from her mouth. Before he knew it, she took off, running off toward the stairs. He wanted to call her back but she was gone. She disappeared up the stairs and the next thing he heard was one of the room door's being shut. "What the hell just happened?" He asked himself, looking around. After some moments of getting himself together, he took his bottle water and headed for his room.

Walking down the dark hallway, Scar took off his hood and began unzipping the robe. On getting to the last door in the hallway, he looked into the room by his left and saw some of the pods through the door. He made his way into the room and saw the Dreaded doctor walking slowly by the seven pods arranged in the room, examining them. Six had a body in them and one was empty. "I trust it's going well with the latest addition?" Scar asked
"Of course" The doctor replied, turning to face Scar. He had a brown rusty mask that looked like a gas mask on his head. Anytime he spoke, it seemed as though gas was being released from the mask and it made a ticking sound every few seconds. You couldn't even see his eyes through the glasshole made for the eyes on the mask. He had on an all black oufit with black boots with a black trenchcoat ontop. No part of of his skin was visible to eyes, including his hands that was covered with black leather gloves.
"Good. One more to go" Scar replied
"It is time for your session isn't it?" The doctor inquired, walking toward him.
"Yes it is" Scar replied, as he began loosing the gauze wrap from his wrist. "I'll be in the room waiting" He concluded and walked off, heading into the opposite room.
