Loving The Envy

Thursday night

I'm currently having a meeting with my men at the venue. Envy is somewhere decorating. I made sure she's been FAR away from me ever since that night when she kissed me.

"Where's Envy?" Anex looks at me looking confused cause she's not here with us.

He likes her.

"Decorating with Gionni and Lisa." I say to him

"Now because Tabitha is on my f*****g ass about this f*****g ball I've been forced to do this. Everyone has to have a date and we have to make sure that no intruders show up. This is a charity event for Tabitha so there will be other people here. We need to seem like normal people. Also before any of you think of asking her. ENVY IS NOT ALLOWED TO BE YOUR DATE!" I yell at them with a sternness behind my voice. A few of my men nod. Enzo chuckles, and Anex just rolls his eyes.

"Dismissed!!" I say to the group and they all disperse to help with whatever else needs to be done.

Enzo stays behind and he's looking at me with a smirk and I already know why.

"Don't f*****g start." I warn him while pinching the bridge of my nose.

"How come we can't ask Envy to be our date?" He asks me with a knowing look on his face. I told him what happened the other night with Envy. He's convinced I like her. If anything I just want to f**k her.

"Because she a worker, there's no time for romance in a mafia." I say answering his question.

He nods but I can tell he doesn't believe me.

"So she's gonna just sit around while everyone else is dancing and having fun?" He asks and I nod my head.

"Are you bringing a date?" He asks me and I nod.

"I've invited Julia." I say with a smirk and he bursts out laughing.

Julia is this girl that I've known for years. She likes me but I'm just not into her like that and I never will be. Don't get me wrong, she's a beautiful girl. Long blonde hair, huge breasts, a beautiful face, and she's very obedient. There's a couple things that I don't like about her though.

1. She has no ass AT ALL.

2. She's annoying and needy

3. She's a f*****g coke head.

Granted I was the one that brought it to her in high school but I quit as soon as I took over my fathers mafia. She kept going.

"You're inviting a f*****g crackhead but Envy can't have a date?" He asks me and I nod feeling no shame whatsoever ever.

"You're f****d up." He says walking away from me. I follow behind him because I already know he's going to check on Envy.

He goes in the area and I peak in there. She's dancing with Gionni and Lisa to this Nicki Minaj song. I think it's called Anaconda.

Lisa and Gionni are rapping and dancing along with her and Nicki.

How do they even know this song?

"Am I interrupting?" Enzo says with a chuckle and walks further in.

"Of course not! Dance with us." Envy says with a smile on her beautiful face.

Soon after Enzo starts dancing too and then Lisa suggests a song and types it in on Gionni's phone. Seconds later the song Careless Whisper starts playing. They all stop dancing and look at Lisa. Her face reddens in embarrassment but Envy picks up one of the screw drivers and puts it to her lips. Then takes a deep breath.

"I feel so unsure,

as I take your hand and lead you to the dance floor." She sings into the "mic" along with George Micheal, dancing towards Lisa. Then hands Lisa the "mic" and Lisa sings.

"As the music dies,

something in your eyes

Calls to mind a silver screen

And all it's sad good-byes" Then they both face Enzo and Gionni and they both shrug and then shockingly sing the Chorus of the song while Envy giggles at them and joins in.

I slowly walk backwards out of the room.

That was the strangest thing I've ever seen. They must have practiced that or something.

Envy does have a nice singing voice though. Lisa, Enzo, and Gionni, not so much.

At least they're having some fun. We live a harsh life and everyone besides me needs a little time to just be normal. I would never say this to Envy but this is the most I've seen Lisa or Gionni smile in a while. She's a crybaby for sure but she does have a quality about her that lights up the room. She's the exact opposite of me. I scare everyone. I worry everyone. The only person that's comfortable around me is Enzo and even he doesn't like being around me for too long.

"Boss, the caterers called and said that they can't make all the desserts and the main course on time." My worker Jerry says to me when he walks into the room that I'm in.

"f**k!" I yell getting annoyed. Tabitha is gonna be on my ass if this event isn't perfect.

"I may possibly know of someone else who can make the cakes." He says while looking at me.

"Who? What are their credentials?" I ask him with my eyes squinted. I'm not letting just anyone cook for me.

"Well Envy." He says and shrugs.

Of f*****g course. What doesn't this girl do.

She cooks, dances, sings, and she probably can f**k too. Ain't no way her ass got that fat just by nature.

"She can bake?" I ask him and he nods.

"She bakes for us all the time." He says to me and I glare at him.

"When?" I ask him

"Usually she does it in the middle of the night or early in the mornings. She said that she learned to bake from her grandmother who owned a bakery when she was little." He says

"Have her make me something tonight and we'll see." I say and then dismiss him.

After that conversation I went to one of my wear houses to handle some other business. It wasn't a that stressful cause I was alone and I was just making phone calls about certain shipments. I have a new mission to send Envy on and I'm sure she's gonna hate this one.

When I arrive to my home I hear a bunch of noise. I don't know who the f**k it is but they will be punished. I like my house quiet and everyone knows that.

I follow the noise and I see Envy, Anex, Enzo, and Tabitha sitting around and eating what looks to be a strawberry cake. Which happens to be my favorite.

"Well look who showed up." Tabitha says while looking at me as I enter the room. She looks mad but she always looks like that.

"Why are you all still in my home?" I ask them with a glare.

"Envy made cake, we wanted some." Enzo says with a shrug and eats more of his cake.

"She must make the desserts for this event! I've never had something so delicious." Tabitha says and looks at Envy who gives her a smile.

Both Enzo and Anex both nod their heads.

"Where's Lisa?" I ask them and Tabitha says that she sent her home because 'she looked tired and that I was a grown man that could cook for himself'

"What exactly am I supposed to f*****g eat. I'm starving." I say getting mad that Lisa even followed Tabitha's orders. But Tabitha probably scared her.

"Cereal." She says and then stands up from the table. She gives Enzo a kiss on the cheek and Envy a small hug and then walks out of the kitchen.

"You're mother." I say to Enzo who has an amused look on his face.

"I'm out. Goodnight beautiful." Enzo says to Envy with a wink and then he walks out too. Now it's just me Anex and Envy.

"Leave before I shoot you." I say to my brother with venom laced throughout my voice. He rolls his eyes and then eventually leaves too.

"Cut me a piece and bring it to me." I say to Envy who hasn't said anything to me or even looked at me. She slowly walks to where the cake is and cuts me a slice, and puts it on a plate. She brings it over to me and it looks delicious. She even gave me one of the strawberries on top.

I pick up my fork and slowly take a bite. She's watching me with a hopeful look in her eyes.

I eat the cake and let me tell you. It was the most flavorful and moist cake I've ever had. I had to stop myself from eating another bite while she was in front of me.

"3 cakes, strawberries, chocolate, and a vanilla one. They need to be big. If you need help ask Lisa." I say to her sternly and she gives me a smile. Knowing that I loved her cake.

"Um Armani, I heard that people have to bring a date to the ball..." She says and then trails off.

"You're not. Now go to bed. Lyric will be here at 11am for your dress fitting." I say this and now she has a sad look on her face but she nods and walks off.

Like always, I stare at her plump ass.

God please let her show up to the ball in a plastic bag. I don't have the strength to ignore my attraction to her if she wears anything else.

I decide to go to bed myself but not before eating the rest of my cake and debating on if I should take the whole cake plate to my room and eat the rest. Ultimately, I decide against it. I'll have another piece on Saturday night.
