Chapter 25
Unlike stereotypical movie stars, action film actress Isabelle Jade was usually punctual. Tonight, she was even early. She had frozen daiquiris ready for both of her friends—Pari Malik and Katerina Rivera—at a dark table hidden near the back corner of an old watering hole in a northeastern Oahu beach community rarely frequented by tourists. The bar was a confusing, yet relaxing, blend of beach grunge and Spanish design, including wood paneled walls and wrought iron decor in the chandeliers and sconces.
Pari arrived next and greeted Isabelle with a hug, while Isabelle insisted on kissing her on both cheeks.
