Rosemary Teagan, attired in a track suit with long sleeves and a high collar, swung her arms as if engaged in a power walk, but Pari and Campbell had no trouble keeping her pace with regular exertion. They traipsed by the resort's tennis courts, parking lots, and the perimeter of the golf course during their impromptu visit. They began by speaking about Wendy Jolley's news from Chicago. Rosemary expressed dismay and confirmed the accounts of the reception given by both Wendy and James Williams.
"Rosemary, what have you noticed about your team since leaving the canyon?" Pari asked.
