Riding in the passenger side front seat of Katerina Rivera's jeep, Pari decided to ask her friend a macabre question. The two women were driving to the eastern coast of Oahu to visit Isabelle Jade.
"Let's engage in a dark hypothetical," Pari said. "Will you put yourself in the shoes of a killer?"
"If you think it will help you, I'll try," Katerina answered, grimacing and shooting a Pari a cautionary look. "First, why would I be a killer?"
