Chapter 36 Lisa Dover arrived fifteen minutes late. Joining Pari Malik at a small table for two, in the restaurant lounge on the top floor of a oceanside Waikiki hotel, Lisa smothered her with a flurry of apologies in a fragile voice. Lisa was very petite, thin and barely five feet in height, with pale skin. Fitting her demure personality, Lisa's wavy ash blond hair, parted in the middle, hung down on the sides and covered almost half of her makeup-free face. "You're fine," Pari said to Lisa, glancing out the floor-to-ceiling window beside them. "I have been enjoying watching the ships at sea. It's a peaceful night on the island." "Oh, this is gorgeous," Lisa agreed. "My room faces north. I should have remembered to ask for an ocean view." "Maybe you can change rooms tomorrow?"
