Toady is the day I dread the most, I know you think I am being dramatic but a double date is the last thing I want now. I just need to act like the dutiful girlfriend after all mum said just a few months. I really hope she does well with her promise to pay Nate’s parents off. “You look absolutely stunning.” Mum ushers me down the stairs. “Thanks mum.” I smiled. “Wait a minute.” She rushed towards the table and walked to me with a necklace. “Mum you don’t have to.” She came close. “Nonsense, this would look perfect on your dress.” I shifted my hair to the other side, giving her space to place the necklace on my neck.
