CHAPTER THREE

1130 Words
He just won't stop. He's been going on for minutes now. Just a 10 minutes into the class and Bryce is already a pain in the ass. I have mastered the art of tuning people out but he's case is becoming difficult. I can still hear every word. Would it be weird if I stood up and seat else where, there's a seat next to Dani, can't. They will start gossiping and talking about how I left the seat next to the new boy and other s**t. I hate this school. "Does she always write on the board rather than teach?" I am not a fan of Mrs Dawn's method of teaching either, she solves the equations on the board first before teaching. I hate maths as well. That's why I need to pay total concentration, I can't fail Maths again this year. I ignored his question, trying to jot down something. "You know if you just answer my questions, it will easy for both of us." I turned to him, which o regret doing because I found my self hypnotized by his looks. The morning sun was made for him, his dark mess hair makes one want to run their hands through, his chest but eyes looks mesmerizing as the sun shines directly on it. His lips looks so inviting, his jawline is to die for. "Take a picture, it lasts longer." I snapped out of my hypothesis. I looked away facing the board mentally slapping myself, I just had to look really? "I wasn't staring and stop talking to me." I said flatly. "That I can't do sweetheart." Seriously, what have I done to get a pest. This is the last thing I need. "If you haven't noticed I have a boyfriend." I felt stupid for saying that, I need this Bryce guy to stay away from me before Nate gets mad. "Oh that not so good looking lad that was stuck to you like a glue this morning. Then I guess no, I haven't noticed."Not looking at him, I can tell he is smirking. No one has ever looked down on Nate, quite humorous. "Besides, you shouldn't really think ill of me, I just want to be friends." I rolled my eyes. "I don't need any friends, I have many already." I whispered noticing Mrs Dawn is now explaining the equations. I have friends I don't need or want, so annoying. "I noticed, you have a lot of friends." I pressed my pen on my book, trying to concentrate but nothing. He really needs to stop talking to me. "You don't seem to like me at all?" I breathed out, getting even more frustrated. "Shocker, right? Every one seems to like you ever since you stepped into the school's premises today. Did I hurt that boyish ego yours?" I mocked, turning to him. "My ego is just fine, you seem well known and liked as well. By the way, the Principal said you are the one giving me a tour round the school." He winked. Oh no "f**k!." I didn't know I said it out loud until the entire class turned to NY direction. "The problem Miss Blaise?" f*****g s**t! Before I could say anything Mrs Dawn spoke. "You and your partner Mr Parker seemed to have a lot to say, you guys been discussing all through teaching. Anything you'd like to share?" I sat there frozen, all eyes on us. "We apologize." Bryce speaks for the both of us. This is all his fault. "Another word and you'll be sent out." I breathed out once she looked away as well as everybody else. "So when would I get that tour?" He whispered. I'm going to kill someone? ~~~~ Here I am walking home alone, why? Well Nate got mad at me again for talking to Bryce, apparently the gossips got to Nate Shocker. I don't even mind walking, I would rather walk than sit in the same car with Nate but nature is not being fair, the breeze and the dark cloud indicates the presence of rain and I am not yet near my house. Why me? I groaned as I walked faster, but the rain caught up with me. You gat to be shitting me right now. I'm wearing a white crop top, any one can see through it now that it's soaked and guess what? I'm not wearing bra. Great, just great. "Hop on." I heard a voice which makes me turn to the direction. There he is, Bryce on his motorbike, he even looks sexy in the rain. Sexy? The rain water is messing with my mind. "You want me to hop on this," I pointed at the motorcycle. "On a death trap? No thanks." I rejected. "Suit your self." He said as the engine roars to life. Wait a minute, no effort? He is not even going to convince me?. What a jerk but Melanie you can't seriously want to walk all the way home in this rain because of your pride. "Wait?" He turns to my direction. Here goes nothing. "Do you even have helmet?" I rolled my eyes. "No, I guess you have to walk." He smirked. I hate this dude. "Wasn't expecting you to." I replied. Lies. I hopped on the bike, not sure of where to put my hands. "You can put your arms around my waist, I don't bite." He is probably smirking. Don't bite? Can't be too sure. ~~~~ "Where the f**k have you been? I was worried sick." I heard a voice as soon as I entered his house. You think the outside is amazing, wait until you see the inside. I turned to the direction of the voice, I spotted a girl not more than 15 or 16 years of age coming towards our direction. "Sorry mum." Sarcasm lacing in his voice. Probably his sister. "You are?" She smile widely pushing Bryce out of her way. I took time to take in her appearance, she looks just like Bryce, her blue eyes are goals. "Melanie, Bryce's..." Not sure of what to call him. "Classmate." He continued for me. "I'm Brooklyn, this ass sister." She gestures at Bryce before stretching her hand for a shake, I took her hand. "Nice to meet you." I smiled. She's being too nice. "I'm gonna get you a towel." She walked out. "Who is your friend?" I turned to see a pale woman, probably in her early forties. Bryce playful face turns serious, hard and unreadable. Bipolar much. I waited for Bryce to say something, She looked hurt by his action. "I'm Melanie." I smiled. "Let's go." I was literally dragged by Bryce until I got into a room, leaving me with the thought. What the hell was that?
