Chapter 2 - Life at stake

The Knights were ordered by King Edward the second to find the child and kill it. Their problem was they didn't know who the child was, where the child was or How the child was to be found? This was a Dangerous situation as In the town of Stonevault Not fulfilling your duties to the king was punished by Letting the person rot in a chamber filled by rats. The Knights knew they had to accomplish this tasks so they started thinking of plans about what are they going to do now. One of the Knight suggested

"Let's ask the king where this child is."

" You Damned mountain Goat. Shut up!!"

"Did you forget to bring your head today?"

"Do you not fear for your life?" These were the responses.

"Or we can just Lie to the king that we killed this child."One said

"We can't........okay let's keep this plan on hand and think of more plans." Said the Lead.

"Let's kill all the kids in the town who were Born today." Sadly this was their best plan yet so they split up and Scouted the whole town looking for babies that were stillborn. They killed 30 babies in total. And then returned and told the king that the Job was done. But they didn't know The Child Stace warned about was still alive and well with Her Godmother Claire.

Claire and Aditi were best friends, they were also accomplices on some of their quests So when Aditi asked Claire to be the Godmother of her child Claire said Yes in a heartbeat. As soon as Claire reached the Cottage she knew she had

to Get the Baby as far as she could from the town. Claire was so sorrow stricken on the death of Aditi she could barely move Yet she somehow managed to Compose herself and collected all the things she would need along with Aditi's journal and the Baby she left the town of Stonevault and Moved to the woods outside the City of Sunfort.

Upon their Arrival Claire examined Aditi's journal and the first Page read "Dear Claire, if you're reading this it means I am dead. I am sorry that I had to leave the world this way. I knew this day way would come yet I didn't tell you about it and there's a reason which I'll tell you later in this journal but before anything else leave Stonevault and go as far as you can if you haven't already. Name my Child Agrona. Now listen carefully when I was carrying Agrona I visited a seer I curiosity of my child's future."

Claire remembered Aditi telling her this when she asked her about why she was traveling East. "The seer told me about a prophecy of which Agrona is a part of but before I tell you anything else you must swear on your magic that you will protect Agrona with all of your power till she turns 6666 days old." Claire swore to Protect Agrona and then turned the page.

Meanwhile The knights were Drinking about How they had Deceived the king. After all they had did the job nicely without Causing any suspicion. To their ignorance 30 pair of Parents were Crying, Sobbing on the death of newborn. What the Knights didn't Notice was that one of the Knights was missing. Nobody knew or even brought him up ever being miss. They probably thought he was having the time of his life killing children. This Pathetically stupid situation was almost funny to the seer who was watching all this. The seer had foreseen what had happened to that one knight. after killing 33 people including 10 Newborns the knight had arrived at a house that was on the edge of the town Stonevault. It was the last House he had to kill people in he thought to himself.

inside were a Woman Giving Birth and the father holding her hand. The knight thought the king said all newborns so I must kill this one as well. He went into the House. It was lit with candles and the man was holding his wife's hand.The man was about twice the size of the Knight with armor. Knight tried very hard to hide his intimidation.

"The mother and the child must die these are the king's orders" the knight Said to the father.

"No....But why the baby isn't even born yet I don't see How can it be if any harm to anyone?"

"The child must die."

"I will not let that happen." The father replied and Drew his sword. Knight saw this and sensed a fight is coming so he put on a helmet and charged at the man. The man ducks and slashed on the ties of the armor and the armor Slid and fell on the floor with a loud bang. The sound of the Armor almost covered the screams of the woman giving birth. The man realized he hadn't much time before the baby was born, He had to kill the knight before the child arrives he thought. By the time the man was collecting his thoughts the knight had attacked him and now the Father had a deep gash on his Shoulder. Fuelled by his anger and love for his wife the Father Charged back at the Knight. The knight was quick this time he Got out of the way and Slashed the father again. This time the father was bleeding from his left thigh. The mother's breath was quickening and she was screaming louder at this point the father knee he must Do something soon or His baby might not live to see a day or it's father.The father charged at the Knight with all his power this time The knight didn't have much time to get away and he was hit right in the middle of his ribcage. The knight was impaled by the sword. With one final pull The man withdrew his sword and the Knights blood flew all across the room like a water from a Spring. As The knight took his final breath the Son of the man was born. After Cleaning his hands in the nearest bucket of water the father held his son in his arms lovingly.

Somewhere In the Woods of Sunfort Claire read the Journal end to end in one sitting. To her Horror she found out about the prophecy and what she had to do in order to fulfill her part in this. Looking at Baby Agrona Claire could not help but think to herself How can something so small and so pure be a part of something so big and so dark. Claire couldn't do anything about it so she decided she'll do what Aditi had asked her do. She will fulfill her duties as a godmother, She will be the best godmother she can be to Agrona. This was the moment Claire Noticed that Agrona was looking back at her. This was an odd behaviour for a day old baby. Claire shook her head and picked up Agrona and sang a lullaby to her.

What Claire thought of as her delusion was actually Agrona looking at her In utter disbelief. The Baby was actually a reincarnation of a Girl from the earth that was in other timeline and the year 2020. Her name here was Andromeda Clansky and she was a Pharmaceutical scientist.
