Chapter 4 - Godmother's Storytelling.

Claire was trying her best to take care of Agrona. She would sell love charms, Anti-aging potions, Cures for diseases for the exchange of Goods like clothes and food. For Claire's delusion Agrona was a quiet and unproblematic child when in reality Andromeda inside of the child was trying so hard to Not cause any more trouble for Claire. That was their relationship.

Although Agrona was always actively Trying to stay out of Trouble, she still managed to run some shenanigans behind Godmother Claire's Back During her childhood. All the time Claire was Busy in her inventory making potions, Perfecting hexes, Creating new and new spells and inventing different cures for diseases, Agrona would sneak out into the woods. Agrona felt most at peace there. She would sometimes take some homemade bread with her to feed the squirrels that would eat it out of her hands. She would also Copy them climbing trees. Agrona could Climb up the tallest trees where no one could see her by the age of 7. Agrona loved to look at the skyline of the nearest town Sunfort. She always wanted to visit the town but Claire told her it was dangerous for her and Agrona trusted that. Agrona also had befriended a Cockatiel. It was a White Cockatiel that she had saved from a cat. Now the cockatiel would come and sit on her shoulder whenever she was in those woods. Agrona would talk to it and it would try to mimic her sounds. She had named the bird Cotton.

"One of these days I am going to take you home with me cotton I promise. I just have to convince Auntie Claire first . I hope she likes you."

"Chirp...chirp.... whistle." Cotton made sounds.

Agrona was soft and gentle like that. She would also try to invent some modern day gadgets in the woods and hide them there. She had made a mechanical clock entirely out of sticks as she had done for a school project in her previous life. She tried making so many more modern gadgets but she wasn't successful because they all required some form of metal and/or solding etc that she couldn't get in these times. She would do all this along with learning all the things Her Godmother was teaching her.

Claire would teach all forms of combat like fighting with magic, Swordfighting, Spearfighting, Fighting without any weapons, Knife fighting, And Claire told her to always use her skills in defense Because only that is kind. Claire Also taught Agrona Magic, spells, hexes and potion making along with healing and curing diseases at which Agrona was already very good at and was fascinated by. Claire was so amused at agrona creating so many new cures for diseases and Finding out what the disease is just by knowing the symptoms. It was surreal.

Growing up Agrona got to know about her mother Aditi and Claire's quests. How they both grew up together, studied magic together and successed the world's most renowned Wizard on one of their quest. This was Agrona's most favourite story. So Aditi and Claire were around 18-19 at the time when during one of their usual book reading times they found out about "The INVISIBLE Jewel " it was written in the book that somewhere in the northern mountain side there's a lake with world's most pure water. Water so clear you could see the depths of the lake from the surface. Once every 33 Blue moons the water on the lake vanishes but not entirely. That is the exact time when the lake gets surrounded by the most dangerous Creatures in the world. werewolves, manticores, Giant lizards, Giant crocodiles, Chimera's , Sphinxes Even the Nemeon lion's gather there for some reason and they all fight to death. So many Heroes and Knights and Wizards had died trying to retrieve it but No one was even able to make it to the top of the cliff. Reading this Aditi was struggling to keep her composure. She just had to Get it even if it meant death. She was so excited.

"So the last time this happened was around 2 years and seven months ago that means the Next blue moon is the time when it's going to occur and it is only a week away so we should better be getting ready for the quest." Aditi said hurrying Claire. Of course Claire was fed up with Aditi's Bizzare ideas and fascination with Dangerous things but since they were Both best friends Claire couldn't Say No to her. So she got up and started packing for the journey.

After 3 days they were at the bottom of the cliff trying to climb it. Aditi was making Rope out of the Date leaves she had gathered when she heard someone walking up behind them. she gestured at Claire to keep doing what she was doing. She got up slowly and started to observe her surroundings as one would do. She saw something in the bushes so she jumped at it with her knives. With a Loud Noise of cracking she was Dangling upside down from a tree. And That's when a man came out of the shadows to examine what was it. He was a large man with Nice features he would've been about 6'5" (That's how Agrona imagined it) with a beard and piercing blue eyes. He looked at Aditi and was unable to move for a second untill Aditi yelled

"Oi you Clay-Brained, Mewling, Hedge pig, Stop staring at me like you've never Seen a woman before. Allthough I am beautiful but Give your eyes a rest from looking at my divinity and start at that rope to get me Down or I swear if I have to get down by myself you'll wish you didn't have those pretty eyes like the sky and sea fell in love and gave birth to those big orbs of pure Beauty. Because I'll be Riping those out by my bare hands."

"Whoa whoa whoa.......Such language!! what are you?.... a Fat Bartender from the Town?"the man replied

"By the way my handsome face goes by the Name of Amandivir" (Claire always said their First interaction went like a Chariot race of insults which were clearly meant as flirtation. Sparks were flying and that's How Aditi's mother met her father).

After Much Banter Aditi used Magic to get free which surprised Amandivir. He was a Knight and a Bounty Hunter. He was sent by King Artur Of town Sunfort to Retrieve "The INVISIBLE Jewel". Given that Aditi was competitive She bet Amandivir that if she Got the jewel she gets to kill him. Amandivir had other plans. He said "If you Get the Jewel first you can kill me But..... If I get my hands on it First you will Have to marry me and come with me to my town of Sunfort." Aditi was trying her Best to hide her blush at this comment. SO they started Climbing the mountain at Dawn.

They Fought Demons, Lava monsters, River Nymphs, Dracaena side by side as the were climbing. And Claire was getting more and more tired of their Bickering. Once or Twice Claire Tried to tell Aditi that when flirting with someone you could be nice too but she wouldn't Listen. Aditi Reached the Top first and had to pull Amandivir Because he couldn't climb by himself and the reason was the Cliff was so stiff and the top was only reachable by putting your elbows together and holding on to one of the stones and pushing yourself upwards but Because Amandivir was man and Because of his broad chest he couldn't put his elbows together Aditi and Claire had to pull him. Amandivir was Furious about this. But he Realized soon enough why only women were able to reach the top.
