Sam’s dilemma

*Sam's POV*
I drag myself out of bed and hop in the shower. I already avoided her yesterday. I can't do it today. I need to see her. I need her. 'Wimp,' Hugo's voice echos in my head. "I remember you howling your heart out too, so shut it!" I snap back at him. He says nothing. We're both still lickings our wounds but not for long. Today is the day. The day we ask Nadia to be our chosen mate. Hugo snd I decided that there is no one we want more than her. She'll see that. And I can wait, Until she's ready. I know she has dreams. And I want to be the one to make every single one of them come true. She's my princess. She's my everything. I jump out of the shower feeling much better. I choose a black button up shirt, that matches my black hair and some jeans and my favorite black converse. They're my favorite because Nadia bought them for me as a birthday gift last year. I'm 6'2" and I'm pretty muscular. I guess I always have been. I have the same hazel eyes as Hugo. 'Copy cat,' he snickers. I laugh. "Let's go get our girl Hugo!" I say before rushing out the door.
We make it to school in no time. I may or may not have been speeding, but Who cares? I always make it here before Nadia, so now I wait. It seems like forever before I see Cat's car come screeching in. "Baby!" I hear coming towards me when I turn around and Stephanie jumps in my lap. Before I have a chance to push her off me, I smell the most mouthwatering cinnamon and apples. 'Mate!' Hugo and I declare simultaneously. And we're screwed.
