WHEN THEY ARRIVED AT Marjorie’s house, Nora couldn’t believe her eyes. Her future mother-in-law hadn’t spared any expenses.
Flowers covered every corner and every surface available. The buffet was decadent and in an array of colors that caught people’s eye and watered their mouths.
Matt held her hand and chuckled at her surprise.
“Mom always knows how to give a party, baby,” he brushed his lips on her cheek.
