The Rouge Killer

It was a beautiful spring day , Luna Alissia and her sons Luca (7years) and Axe (5years) were finishing up making lunch. The kitchen was large bright open and spacious, with large glass built in cabinets all around, off the kitchen was the living room with three large sofa chairs and few brightly coloured bean bag chairs. The dining room was next to the living room with a long table big enough to fit fifteen to twenty people. The two boys were huddled around an island bench. “Now my boys run along and wash up, your father will be back soon then we can all eat” Alissia said. “Mummy can I show daddy what I made him?” Asked Axe his big brown eyes looking up at her in a puppy loving way. Holding the colourful painting he had made earlier that day. “Of course my darling, I’m sure he would love it” Alissia replied giving her son a kiss on the head before shuffling him off again. Just as the boys turned to leave the door flung open all three of them turned around quickly jumping at the loud sound. “Daddy, daddy your home!” The boys sang running up jumping on him giving big bare hugs. “Haha yes I’m home my sons. I will always come home” he chuckled grabbed both sons and pulled them into a tight hug. Giving them a kiss on the head before looking up to his Luna with a big smile he put the boys down and wrapped Alissia into his arms. “Welcome home my alpha” she whispered giving him a kiss. Alpha Zander leaned into the kiss he had longed for the last 5 days. “I missed you my Luna” he murmured back. Suddenly he went quiet his eyes flashed dark black for 10 seconds, worried Alissia asked “what’s wrong?” “Get the boys and hide, now!” He commanded using a slight alpha tone. “Zander, what’s going on?” “Now Alissia we don’t have time, we didn’t get all of the Rouges we thought, go now and don’t come until I link you” he commanded much more Alpha tone this time. The boys immediately stopped what they were doing and looked up at their parents. “Mummy?” Luca asked. “Come with me my darlings , now quickly let’s move along” Alissia said hurrying them down to the basement. Luca grabbed his little brothers hand and dragged him down “I don’t like it down here, it’s scary” Axe whimpered. “It’s ok little brother I will protect you, we have to do what mummy and daddy say now” Luca whispered. The boys and Alissia moved down the basement , Luca reached for the light but Alissia stopped him. “Not yet darling. Wait until it is safe, we don’t want to give our position away” she whispered Luca looked at her puzzled but nodded and kept moving down holding Axe’s hand tightly. There was loud banging and a growling sounds coming from up stairs in the kitchen. All three heads snapped up to the door they had just come out of. Alissia looked worried and pale. She looked at her boys and gave them a kiss and a tight hug and said “do not come out until one of us finds you, do you understand Luca ?” Luca nodded, looked at his brother and held him tight. “we won’t move at all mummy” he whispered back. “I love you both my sons” she kissed them one last time before slowly heading back towards the door. Alissia slowly moved her hand to the door knob, it had been quiet for a little while now, she couldn’t smell anything different in the air. Zander had not linked her to say it was safe to come out but the thought of her fellow pack members and Zander being hurt was unbearable. Alissia slowly opened the door and moved outside. She closed the door and looked around the destroyed living room, the large table had been smashed to pieces. The couches were torn and broken in half and the kitchen cabinets were all smashed as well as the china inside. Alissia couldn’t believe her eyes. Not 15 minutes ago her and her sons where here cooking and laughing. Alissia looked outside the windows. All of the front garden was destroyed, her beautiful flower beds were gone, there was blood on the grass and gravel road. Panic set in her mind. Where was Zander? She walked out side and looked around. It was silent. Too silent. Even her Beta and Gamma were no where to be seen. Alissia had tried to reach them using the link but nothing is coming through. She could feel that Zander had been injured through the mate bond, pain in her side was unbearable she needed to find him, to help him heal. He was weak. As soon as Alissia took a step out to the destroyed garden she heard a snarl and growling, As she whipped around to where the sound had come from. There standing was a large muddy brown wolf. Confused Alissa hadn’t smelt anything of a rouge. She started to back up her eyes flashed as her wolf was trying to come out but the pain of her mate was unbearable. The wolf moved slowly snarling and snapping at her. Stalking her like prey. Alissia moved to phase into her wolf form the wolf made its move. It pounced on top of her knocking her to the ground, Alissia was trapped underneath trashing around trying to break free. Panicked. She realised this wolf must be an alpha or beta. No one else would have the strength to hold her down like it is. Alissia tried to link anyone who could help her. Panicking. What if it finds her sons.? She bit at one of the wolfs legs making him twitch faintly but nothing more. It seemed to make the wolf more angry as he snarled at her. Alissia looked deep into the wolfs eyes and said “if you kill me now you will regret it as long as you live” with those as her last words the wolf killed her.
