Chapter 9: After On Week

Arion continues to return home, but the first day she comes home after a day of not returning because of staying at Julio's house she is normal. Because he knew that Peony went out of town, the second day felt empty. The third day, there is another, the fourth Arion can't stand it anymore, the peak is today. He contacted Peony continuously and even told Drake to search the entire city of Seoul searching for his wife. It's nothing, Arion is just worried that Peony is okay, and also Peony is a nomad. Not a native of Seoul, even though she has lived in Seoul for a long time. But there is absolutely no news. Drake even brought news that Arion never expected.

If Peony never went out of town, the woman didn't have a list of flights out of town, not even train tickets and so on. But, why did he lie to Arion? Whenever they have a problem, this kind of debate always happens, and the one who will give in is Julio. The man sighed and then tried to pass from Arion's presence. Not long after, came back with a glass of tea that smelled into the room.

“Do you make mint tea?” asked Arion.

“Have you asked his friends? Or the places he used to go?”

“Jessica, where's Peony?” he asked with a wry face.

“Sorry Arion, why are you asking me about your wife? Who do you think I can hide Peony?” asked Jessica back.

“I know you're with him, he doesn't have any more friends here Jes,” Arion seemed to really worry about Peony to ruffle her hair.

“Tsk, you're so funny, Arion. Didn't you rea

lly never want Peony? Then why do you suddenly seem to care about him so much?”

“What do you mean? I married her because I care about her!!” Arion snapped at Jessica. That's when Gabriel arrives, stopping Arion.

“Excuse me, who are you? Why come to my office instead of shouting to a woman?” Gabriel gave Arion a fierce look, making the man snort.

“Sorry, I didn't deal with you either. I dealt with Jessica because she had already hidden my wife.” Gabriel stared fiercely at Arion and Jessica at the same time.

“Is that really Jessica?” asked Gabriel

“What did I hide Gabriel's wife for? I'm normal, I should hide a man, or even a handsome man with a wife is okay, his wife is Peony, my best friend. Why do I hide my own best friend? Are you crazy? Ah, I'm sorry, we are still in the office.” Jessica realized her mistake because she had said Gabriel was crazy in front of some of her employees.

Jessica and Gabriel are friends, but in the office their status is different.
