45Sydney 2002 That afternoon, James was admitted to the Royal Price Alfred Hospital in Sydney. He had travelled from Wollongong in an ambulance with Jenny. Jenny would not have been able to drive even if there were no ambulance. Robert, Douglas and Kate were there to meet and accompany James to the ward. There were then fresh examinations, more blood tests and meetings with a blur of new staff. The only difference from events in Wollongong was that James did not need to wait until the next day to meet the specialist. Dr Tony Haug, a thoracic surgeon, introduced himself to James and his family within an hour of James’s admission.
