The Queen Gangster

Chapter 7

Violet sat on one of the swings and opened her scrapbook, just like how she always does.

"How many times have you opened your scrapbook and looked at those photos over and over again?" He asked, sitting on the swing on the other end

Violet gave him a sarcastic smile and rolled her eyes. She tuned him out as she flipped through the pages once again.  

"Let's try to go to the principal's office so we can report what happened" he suggested

She just nodded and ignored him again.

Violet stood up and went to the slide but the photo of Caro was blown by the sudden breeze, making her gasp. She immediately chased after it but before she could grab it, Glaze immediately caught the photo before it would’ve fallen on the puddle of water. 

She sighed in relief and thanked him when he handed it over to her as she wa;lk towards the top of the slide and sat on it. She leaned her back on the railing and continued to flip through the pages.

“You love that picture book that much?” He asked

Violet shrugged “Yeah. It kept my memories longer than I could.”

She kept moving the page, the scrap book is big and thick anyway so she still can't see much. Ash suddenly sat beside her as if looking too. She just smiled and stroked his head.

Violet raised the picture of her and the guy she called Mio caro, to the rising sun and smiled as it glowed when the ray hit it. I do hope to see you soon, Mio caro.

Her thoughts were interrupted by the sudden ringing of her phone. She sighed and picked it up.

"Tyler...." She answered

She heard someone sniffing on the other line, but she knew it was just normal. They’ve just lost 10 members and Tyler is one of those who held dear every member they have.

“H-Hey, Talia.” He sniffed “We need you back here. We have a match against Dragon’s Blood.”

“We just had a problem earlier, why can’t they just consider it.” Violet grunted

Tyler chuckled even though she could still hear him sniffing “W-Well rules are rules after all.”

She sighed “Alright. I’ll be on my way, I’ll bring the new ones with me.”

“Okay, be safe.” Tyler said “I love you.”

“I love you too, Ty. be there a bit.” She ended the call and slid down

Without a word, she walked out of the playground and headed straight back to her dorm to grab some clothes. She was sure she would have to stay with Glaze for a short while.

Violet immediately took her suitcase from  the bedroom and put her belongings back in and pulled it out, Glaze  took it from her and pulled it to his dorm. Shejust looked at him as if knowing he would do that, he kept walking so Ash urged me to follow.

Glaze put her suitcase in his dorm and locked it.

They are now walking down the hallway to Aera's dorm. Without permission he opened the door and pushed her in. Violet gave him a sharp look.

“I wanted to thank you, but nevermind.” Violet then faced her friends who was dumbfounded at them “Oh, right. I need you guys to come with me to the base. Our group will have a match against Dragon’s blood—”

“Hold on, Dragon’s blood as it is led by Enoch the son of an Aristocratic noble man?” Elise asked

“Yes.” Violet smiled “it’s good that you know them, now shall we go since I am needed there and wasting time is not necessary.” They nodded. Violet smiled and gestured at the door “Please keep up. It’s a little long way there.”

Without a word, she sprinted out of the room and out of the school gates that were now opened. They were lucky there were no guards there.

Violet ran on the sidewalks and heard their footsteps following close behind her. She was actually surprised to see Ash and Glaze following them too. 

When they arrived close to the tunnel of the base,  red dots glided on the ground past Violet then at the people behind her. Her eyes widened as she buried her soles on the dirt and waved her hand in the air.

"Put the f*****g guns down!" She shouted and the red dots instantly vanished

“N-Nyx…” Aera called “What was that?”

“Security.” She sighed “Sorry. They do that whenever someone unknown is close to the tunnel.”

As they entered the tunnel, red lights emitted when Aera stepped in after her. Violet scoffed “Right. You have to be marked if you’re either a new member or a visitor.”

A small section of the tunnel then lit up and out came a small machine that would mark them. Violet guided Aera’s wrist on the wide hole and the machine lit up with two choices. She clicked the latter and the machine began to engrave black ink on Aera’s wrist, making her hiss in pain.

She did the same to Kora and Elise, but gave Glaze a visitor’s pass which was two dots on the side of his forefinger.

After that they made their way to the base and not even near the entrance they heard screams and cheers.

"Guys if you don't want to see this, stay here and I’ll have someone assist you in." Violet suggested

"Eh? But if we join the group, there’ll still be matches, right? I’m watching!" Kora said and folded her arms

Violet shrugged and entered. For a moment their eyes were blind to the light but Violet could still see the mess going on. Jiyū is on the left side and Dragon's Blood is on the right. She turned to Glaze leaning against the wall and watching the fight. She quickly motioned for them to follow.

They went to the stairs and walked down and headed to the front while her friends followed close behind. Their fight continued as she walked up the small stage and sat on the throne-like chair in the middle of the stage. She glanced at her friends who sat on the edge of the stage, now watching the fight. They both looked terrified and amazed by the match. She chuckled as Kora began to cheer. 

Violet smiled when Percy knocked Kayla down.

"Jiyu won!” Violet announced, making her group cheer

Everyone saw the leader of the other Gang approach her.

"Not so fast Ms. Queen." He said in his deep and masculine voice "You know the new rule, leaders must fight for final round"

She smiled. That's just What I am waiting for.

Violet got up and jumped down the stage. Staring at the leader, she took off her jacket and smirked. His body is big and muscular. But I have always won fights like these .

"First to knock down their enemy wins." he said before attacking her, but Violet immediately avoided his kick and punch and sent in her own punch that hit his throat.

He has a big body so he is not that fast, she kicked his head so he became out of balance. He gave me a strong blow to the abdomen and kicked on the back, He also kicked her head causing her to lose her balance and almost fell. The surroundings became blurry  for her as she vomited blood. She was still on her feet so she knows the fight isn’t over yet.

Violet can no longer understand their screams around. Aera tried to approach her but people stopped her and pushed her away. Percy got through the crowd but was kicked back by the enemy leader. She shook her head. This is done.

"Ultra..Violet..Ultraviolet...Ultra...Violet!" They chanted louder and louder making her laugh

Violet c****d her head back and inhaled deeply “Ahh… I’ve missed this.”

She ran fast in his direction and in slow motion she kicked his face, and as soon as she landed, she threw a punch at him, kicked him where the sun did not rise, kneed his stomach, and kicked his head for the last time, rendering him unconscious.

"Ultraviolet!" they finally shouted and cheered

As Violet was about to walk back to the stage, she heard the whistling of the wind as if something had been thrown and sent flying towards her. She immediately stepped aside and caught a sharp black dagger. 

She threw it at where it came from. Upon hearing the groans of aman that she assumed was the culprit, she glared at the people in the room.”

"All of those not part of Jiyu, leave immediately. This is a fair match, and you sore losers are no longer welcome here!" She roared, making the other gang members scurrying away from there

Violet felt her head ache for a bit as people started to leave so she went to hold on to the edge of the stage only for her vision to turn pitch black and she went unconscious.

Glaze saw Violet limp as she tried to go to the stage—and then fall, so he quickly ran and caught her body.

"Violet!" Aera and the two women next to Tyler shouted

He picked her up immediately and looked at Tyler who gestured for him to follow them and he went straight to a large space that looked like a hospital.

Glaze immediately placed Violet on a hospital bed, as a woman who looked like a nurse approached her. That’s when he saw her face. Jane?

"s**t, Tyler! It’s happening again!" He said and gave Violet a blue pill and gave her some water "it’s good that you took her here immediately.”

“What’s happening? What do you mean again?" He asked, worriedly. Glaze looked at Violet and saw her furrowed her brows, eyes shut tightly

"Hold her down." the woman ordered so I held her arm down on the bed like Tyler did on the other side of her arm. The nurse inserted the syringe into Violet's arm so she screamed while her eyes were still closed shut

Violet calmed down when she was finished. She treated Violet's wounds on her forehead and arms. And after that, she left after giving Tyler Violet's Medicine.

Tyler went to the two women while Glaze sat on the adjacent hospital bed to Violet's right. He looked at her condition; bruised cheek, scratched forehead, and a cut on her lip.
