When we started this morning, I wasn’t expecting to see skeletal remains within the Locus Pack. We don’t put as much emphasis in the fairy kingdom on burying our dead as the werewolf community. Their culture and beliefs are steadfast. If you don’t bury the dead, Goddess Selene won’t be able to escort your spirit to the afterlife. I’m not sure how true that is, because from what Kyle had said, Hunter still went to the afterlife, even without us burying him.
“Yes, but he didn’t meet others until after he was buried”, Nicholas said as I glanced up at him from my seat in our office. “At least that is what Mum and Aunty Helen explained. They said it was like Uncle Hunter was in limbo, only seeing Helen’s parents and as soon as he was buried, he was able to see others.”
