Chapter Six

~Nate's P.O.V~

Jasmine and Nicole call us into the kitchen to get breakfast, so Jase and I came running into the kitchen to get the food, but Jasmine took the plate of pancakes while Nicole had the plate of meat. I wanted some bacon so bad, but Nicole wouldn't let me get any. To make matters worse, Nicole took a piece and ate it in front of me. That made me start to whine Nicole look at my sister like she was going insane when she looked back, I could see complete fear in her eyes. She saw my eyes change colors Nicole put the plate down and went running up the stairs. Jasmine put the pancakes down, and she punched my arm and went running after Nicole.

As Jas went running up the stairs, she was cussing me out through the mind link about being reckless about letting Nicole know about us. I blocked her out and started to eat when I heard my name being shouted. I went upstairs to see what was going on. Jasmine told me to explain and show Nicole what she saw. So I started to change until I was in wolf form. Nicole hesitantly ran her hand down my back, and it felt good to have someone running their hands through my fur. She asked if she was insane. I shook my head no, and so did Jasmine. Jasmine sent Jase and me back to eating. I happily did so because I was HUNGRY as hell.

Next day ~Jase's P.O.V~

I was sitting there thinking of all the places I've been to over my many years and I was, daydreaming just a little bit when I heard that angelic sound of Nicole's laugh. I smiled to myself and thought of how the many ways to get her to like me. I could feel my phone going off in my back pocket. I took it out and looked at the new message, it was from my mom telling me that I need to get home and unpack my bedroom or I was in some serious trouble. I told Nate that I had to go he nodded and we swapped numbers. As I start walking out the door I heard Nicole call after me and she asked for my phone, so she could call hers because she wasn't sure where hers was. I hand her my phone and she gave it back to me so I could unlock it. I handed it back to her, she smiled and called it turns out it fell between the couch cushions she ended the call and gave me my phone back.

I walk out of the house and the short distance to my Jeep I called my mom to tell her I was going to be a little late but as I was trying to find my mom's number I found Nicole's. I smirked and went to Micky D's to get some food. On my way back I wasn't paying any attention to where I was going and turned into a sketchy looking part of town. I parked on the side of the road to pull up maps to get directions back to the house. When I looked up to drive off I saw a group of guys that look like they could belong to a gang I sighed inward and tried to back away but one of the guys grabbed my shirt collar and tried to pull me out of the driver side but I grabbed his arm and brought him to the ground and looked all the other as if to say bring it I'm not scared of any of you. They all looked like they were about to wet themself so I drove off. When I got home I call out to my mom and she came into the room and smacked the back of my head I looked at her and she said that she was worried sick that I had gotten into some kind of trouble I just hugged her and said that I went to Micky D's and got something to eat. She smiled and told me to call next time I nodded and went upstairs to start unpacking my room when I was finished with my room I got changed and went to bed.
