Chapter-30

After seeing the tribal leader lying under the feet of Arasu, the villagers gradually lost their hope for winning and surrendered. The crew members who took control over the village approached Arasu to ask his motive. Arasu's body was covered with cuts and arrows were deeply buried all over his body. He asked his friends to give their hands by helping him to create one ship. The crew gave their knowledge and strength to their lovable crew member who always stood with them in all kind of situations. The crew worked day and night to create a ship that could sail through any weather and ocean. After two months Arasu packed the people and forced them to sail far away from their home town and never return. The people of the village who resided there for years was really felt heart broken to live there home. But Arasu found no other way to save the innocent animals of the village. He drove the people away and stayed there with his people for six months to make sure they don't return back. At that time he broke all the crudes in the villages and wooden rooms that cages the elephants and freed them. He used all of his medicinal knowledge gained through his long to treat the wounds of the elephants. Other than the hands of Selvi , Arasu was the first one to touch them gently . The elephants which was cruelly beaten and mistreated all the time was shocked to feel the hands of Arasu gently touching him and couldn't believe itself. It felt it strange and cried out with a huge sound and the giant animals legs trembled in a mixed feeling of excitement and shock. He gradually got attached to them except Selvi who refused to leave the place and Arasu allowed her to stay there because he knew she wouldn't cause the elephants and trouble. The big creatures became close with the crew and the crew the elephants like one of them. After sending the villagers , Arasu witnessed the body of the elephants body was covered with fresh wounds which were infected. He treated them with the freshly extracted gel of aloe vera and turmeric roots. On seeing him treating the elephants with care , Selvi slowly lost her anger. She around him with her one leg and they both treated and took care of the elephants. They went together to the mountains to collect herbs and fetch food for the crew. The crew members of Arasu understood what would be the outcome of this and kept a distance between those two. They roamed around the forest and whenever Selvi slip out of her balance Arasu was there to support her. Gradually the respect she had on Arasu became something more complex and that was unable to explain to anyone and even she itself didn't understand what was wrong with her. But Arasu was always remained normal like jumping around the forest in joy, making trouble to his crew mate and wrecking havoc when a predator approached. They both began talking for days and nights. At a point Selvi started to understood the words of Arasu by gazing at his eyes before his lips could explain. At the same time when Selvi tried to explain about the nature of the elephants, Arasu would fell asleep on the shoulders of her which didn't made her annoyed or mad but she let a silent and ear to ear smile with all of her tooth Marched out in front. Day by day she felt safe and she was in the right hands whenever her hands touched the hands of Arasu.

After six months , Arasu was ready to set sail with his crew members and pursue his adventure to the next island. The elephants of the were well and in good shape . Selvi didn't want to let him go away from the forest but that she also didn't want him to abandon his dreams. So without any choice Selvi forced her lips to smile when he got ready to leave the island. But her dark spotted eyes were a sign of her sadness and asked her to come with him and said that he wanted to see the elephants for a last time with her. They both went to the place were the herd of elephants stayed and took a long and last breath of the honey flavour air of the forest and smiled at Selvi. She tried her best to smile back to Arasu but her lips trembled in sorrow and didn't cooperate with her to smile at him and her eyes filled with water ready to leak out at any time. She wanted to feel the warmth in the body and hands of Arasu wrapped around her body and cry out loud while her head lying on the chest of Arasu. But she forced all of her emotions inside and instead she forced out her smile with an immense difficulty. They both walked back to their the shore and on the way Selvi hopped all the way and holding the shoulders of Arasu as a support. Arasu looked at the soft and little fingers that held her shoulders tightly and also gazed at the woman who lost her left leg and living alone all the time. When Selvi leaned her head forward and noticed grinning at her. He had a evil and a naughty face which was not new to her and she simply ignored it . But the next thing happened was," Eeeeeeheehaaha ..... Haha ! Do you know something? I really started to like you ".

He inserted his broad hands around the lemon shaped curvy waist of Selvi and grabbed it tightly which made her heart stop for a second. Before she could come out from the shock , Arasu placed her banana stalk navel over his broad and hard shoulder and ran towards the shore. Selvi didn't know how to react and asked Arasu what was he doing. Arasu replied to her that he wanted her to be with him and told her that she was his one. Selvi was irritated as usual rather than getting exciting and her useless and soft punches at Arasu which didn't even made him to realise she was hitting her and her kept running wild. He finally stopped at the shore and dropped her down and asked her whether she want to come with them or live here all alone.

"Look here Arasu. I really like you and I feel like I will be happy to be with you all the time. But I can't abandon these place and the elephants for you. They protected me and gave me everything I wanted till today. So I will stay here and you can continue your adventure without worrying about me", fake words danced on the lips of Selvi.

Arasu grabbed her again and threw her into the ship while saying ," you are coming with me and nothing else". Arasu ignored her entire speech an forcefully kidnapped her from her home. Selvi cried and beat everyone again and asked them to leave her but the crew members pretended that they heard nothing and kept sailing. But eventually she lost her anger and smiled when Arasu wrapped her with his arms to prevent her from destroying the ship. She lost her anger and sense in the hands of Arasu's hands and rested her head on rock hard chest of him. The crew set their course to the next island. Wherever Arasu went , Selvi followed him with her hands tightly spiraled around the hands of him. She explored the vast world with a lots of unique traditions, foods and animals. Arasu carried her to all the place and showed how the beauty of the world. But one day they found the calf elephant sneaked in while the crew member loaded the food and other resources. Selvi said that she didn't want to leave the little one either and the elephants joined the journey with them.

Selvi felt the thrilling experience in their journey and the crazy minded dived into the sea filled with giant sharks , crocodiles and other sea predators for fun and came back alive. But he couldn't escape from the hands of Selvi who felt her heart stopped when he jumped into the sea and nearly stopped the heart of Arasu when he boarded back with her fist. Every day was a heaven for everyone and whenever they went , they showed smile in the heart of the people and left a sweet but strong scar on the heart of the people. The brave heart and celestial weapon sliced through all the troubles and the crew sailed all over.

One a fateful day, the crew stepped in a mysterious island where the people in the village built their crude and lived on a tree. The people of the forest were hesitant to walk on the ground and jumped tree to tree to hunt and fetch food. The body of the people had several deep wounds which was fresh. When Arasu enquired them they told him that they had a life blessed by the almighty and lived a happy life by co existing with the animals of the village. This forest is filled with uncountable number of trees and herbs. Even the birds from a far away place comes to this forest for mating due to the calm nature of the forest and lay there eggs on the tree. This a real heaven for all the animals. When the rain hits the ground ,it clears everything in it's path and would wash it to the shore paving the way for the new plants to emerge from the empty place. The green plants raise there head on sun raise and absorb the enormous amount of water that floods in the soil. This attracted the insects, frogs, doers and other animals. Then some sharp toothed animal followed those prints and entered into the forest. "Those animals attack by surprise, appearing suddenly from the tall grass. With a bow and arrow , you have but one chance to shoot. If you miss, you are dead. If you hit him you are still dead, for he will continue to attack even with a poisoned arrow in his heart. He won't settle until he take you with him to the feet of almighty. And we call him , the jaguar", and those are the words of the tribals . Arasu and his native crewmates had heard about the claws of the top class predators of cats which are lions, tiger and other species. But no one including Arasu ever saw those creatures in there home. Yet the tales about them were famous at their village and even a child would tell about a tiger. On hearing the words of the people , the excitement in Arasu had no boundary and he was eager to fight such a top class predator everyone that everyone one of them feared. They further explained that the jaguar would stay here for a while and return to it's original place when the grass dry out and dears and other animals move out of the forest. But this time they started to prey on them and claimed that they would come out of nowhere in the darkness in spite of the traps we set for it and silently would drag their people into the woods. But went inside the head of Arasu and he kept asking them where could they find the jaguar.
