Chapter -29

Everyone boarded on the ship except Arasu . He still roamed on the village and searched for someone. His eyes scanned for a woman on the village and moved here and there. He finally saw the woman under the shade of a tree outside the village with her head leaned on the tree.

This was the first time he saw her without any mud or clay around her body. Her skin had a golden honey texture . The eyes of her were like a pearl found under the deep sea. Her hair was dancing in the air like a waterfall waving in air while falling from top. The wing broken wild pigeon sat silently as if she was waiting for the end of her life. Her eyes were red and those eyes told everything about the pain she had in her heart. Arasu approached her and stood in front of her. He slowly turned her head and noticed Arasu standing . But he began talking, she turned her hear away from him. He also noticed her left leg was completely broken. Arasu took a breath and said that what he had done was a unforgivable sin . He asked her to forgive him and fell on her legs and touched her legs. Selvi felt a tingling sensation when he touched her legs and looked at him in anger. For which Selvi claimed that he should fall on the legs on the young motherless calf instead of her and she doesn't even want to see his face and requested him to never come to this place again. While they were talking a tall man who always drag her here and there and the person who broke her leg interrupted them by yelling about their marriage which would take place at today night. Arasu could fully grasp what kind of pain she would be going through and left the place while the tall man forcefully tried to hug his bribe.

The people of the tribe asked them to take some of their elephants for which Arasu refused with a strong voice. The children of the village gave him a lot of fruits to eat on his way . Even though some of the fruits were half rotten, Arasu accepted them all with a smiling face.When he was about to leave something smashed on to him and Arasu lost his balance and fell on the floor. It was the young calf again which fell on the ground after hitting Arasu. It's eyes were dark and the little one constantly and at the same time slowly blushed it's eyes like a tried old man . His trunk touched the body of Arasu and raised it in air. Arasu turned his head at the direction of the trunk and saw the half rotten pineapple. The leader of the tribe noticed this and asked the people to clear the nuisance in the way. He explained that the calves would be tied in a small cage without water and food. But the calf was persistent and kept pushed the people away whenever anyone tried to approach. So the people doesn't kept the little one unfed. Arasu gazed at the eyes of the calf and be slowly took a few fruits from his baggage and placed on the ground. The hungry calf feasted on the fruits even though it was rotten. The noticed a little smile on the face of that heavenly adorable calf. He felt like he had been purified from all of his sins by their god. The smile that was hidden for a long time came out of his face again. Each time the calf grabbed the fruit, he saw the smile was widening on the calf and on the soul of Arasu.

The tribal leader asked his men to clear the path, so that Arasu would proceed to his ship. A skinny , middle aged man approached them and tried to take away the little , but the hands of Arasu slightly pushed him like a warning and let out a crazy laugh that echoed all over the woods. This weird act of didn't surprise the people as it's a usual thing about Arasu who always remained a troublesome person. But he withdrawn his weapon from his back and pointed towards the people which was quite unusual.

" Now.....I can't leave these innocent creatures in the hands of cruel animals and you people helped us in lot of ways. You gave us food, water and a shelter. If you abandon the village and move to some other place , I promise there will be no blood shed in this celestial land", Arasu said th the people with an evil smile of his face and singed his spear in air. But the tribal laughed at his words and sequentially fired their spears towards him as if they were challenging him for a fight. The youngsters he trained stood in front of him with their weapons pointing towards his head. The smile of Arasu extended to his ears and he readily accepted their challenge by raising his weapons in air. He carefully sliced their hands and other body without any intention of killing them. The ferocious warrior with his invincible weapon took down the entire village in a blink of an eye. But suddenly a spear sliced his belly . It was the leader of the tribal who had a dark sky hair with a hawk eyes that constantly gazed at Arasu. The body of the leader had deep cuts and bruises and his neck was crowded with a lots of necklace made of animals teeth, bones and sea shell. He aimed straight at Arasu's head and he could hear the slashing sound in the air . The crew members who came all the way back to village to check Arasu and saw him fighting aggressively. They understood their comrade need help and joined with him in the fight without even asking anything to him due to the immeasurable faith they had on him. Arasu gave a counterattack, but the ferocious leader didn't even move an inch and got slashed at his chest. Yet he brutally without even blinking his sharp and red eyes. He successfully landed a series of slashes at Arasu and both of them bathed in their own blood. At a point both of them became ferocious and charged towards each other. The spears slashed like two rhinos colliding their horns and the weapons sparked like a lightning during heavy rain. The two beasts launched their spears towards each others head. The spear made from the iron and other ores combined with the enormous force generated from the bulky arms of Arasu broke through the wooden spear with a sharp stone attached at it's tip and pierced through the left eye of the leader. But Arasu halted his motion without letting his weapon piercing through the head. Selvi got up and hopped towards the village due to the continuous noise in the village and noticed the village was in a chaos because of Arasu who created a havoc on the land. The crew members of Arasu dominated the warriors and took control over the place.
