Kiara's pov:

I opened my room door and saw dathan standing by the window.fear gripped me and different thoughts flew through my mind " what is he doing here... what does he want from me?"I thought as I shut the door."what are you doing here... do you want my mum to see you... look you have to leave "I said trembling out of fear."relax I was flying by and I decided to stop by and say hi besides it's not right to leave your room window open and step out any one could get in from there "said dathan."thank you for the advice... please leave "I said trying to push him through the window.suddenly he pushed me to the wall and pinned me to the wall."dathan stop... my mom can walk in here anytime "I protested."let her come... when she comes I will tell her that you are my bethroth "said dathan."dathan... suddenly he kissed me.as soon as his icy lips touched mine,I began to see my self on top of the world.then dathan took few steps away from me "Kiara I can't marry you... I belong to another" said dathan.my heart sank one minute he kissed me and called me his bethroth the next he tells me he belongs to another.i began to feel sick in my heart but I remained calm and tried not to show the sudden negative feeling I had."dathan I don't have feelings for you... infact I have a crush on someone else... so you can go ahead and marry whosoever you want I don't care."I said

"thank you for understanding...most ladies would try to act stubborn especially because I am a prince and a soon becoming king"said dathan "yeah I mean which normal human girl would want to marry a vampire "I said."trust me many girls would love to be in your shoes... but all the same, thank you for understanding "said dathan then he turned to a bat and took off."Argh what is happening to me?... what feelings am I feeling...am I?...no I can't fall in love with him... he is a vampire...oh but he is so cute and dreamy... no vampires are not to be trusted... besides he already has someone else in his life so there is no way I can get him "I thought to myself." oh God please help me with these feelings"I prayed.

dathan's pov:

I flew back home and ran to see my father."dad Kiara said she has someone in her life and so do I "I said admist my Joy."oh dathan shut up "yelled my father . "what did I do" I asked." prince dathan you have to marry that girl before the next blood moon or else a great doom will befall you both as your reincarnators will be angry with you both "said shedrack."dad what should I do? she doesn't have feelings for me, should I force her?" I asked."no you can't force her but you can make her nurture feelings for you... dathan get your things ready you will go and stay with her in the human world and don't return until she agrees to marry you "said my dad. "what?... dad that's not fair "I said but he sent me out of his presence.out of anger I stumped into my room, shut the door and fell on my bed face down.

Kiara's pov:

mum and I decided to go swimming in the pool.we were getting ready when ding ding the door bell rang."I'm coming "I said as I ran to open the door.on opening the door, I saw dathan with his luggage and beside him was shedrack and dathan's skin was not pale, it was human color white."what are you doing here?" I asked looking surprised."trust me you have a lot to find out "said dathan while shedrack winked at me.
