chapter two. I am betrothed to a vampire

Kiara's pov:

we appeared in what looked like a throne room.there was a king vampire and a queen vampire.there was also a weird looking man which stood beside the king. he had a long white beard and was wearing a long purple robe that had golden stars all over.he also wore a wizard hat that matched the robe."oh my darling please sit down you are welcome"said the queen vampire.i Sat down on a couch which was shaped like a coffin."My dear you are welcome to my home...I am king Darius and this is my beautiful wife queen clementine...um you've met my son prince dathan..."and I am wizard shedrack... the king's assistant "said the wizard cutting the king short."yes shedrack I was coming to that... anyway shedrack you know what to do"said the king. my heart raced," what does he want to do?... does he want to check if I will be good for their dinner?...I have read lots of stories about vampires and their cunning nature." I was still lost in thoughts when I heard the wizard's voice" hello your hand please"said the wizard.i came back to reality and reluctantly released my hand to the wizard.he poured some white substance on my hand and placed dathan's hand on my hand suddenly a spark shone from our hands and that made me withdraw my hand."united they are unstoppable... she is the one... she is the elemental bride" said the wizard.

" what is going on?" I asked with confusion clearly written on my face.

"oh my darling"said the queen as she came to sit next to me"you see many years ago a prophesy was made that a great warrior would recarniate along side with his elemental bride and they shall become great together and they shall accomplish lots of things together "said the queen. "okay...so how does that concern me "I said trying to avoid her long claws on my skin."well you see My son here is the warrior and you are his bride "said the king."what... that's not possible "I said looking surprised."it is... that's what the prophecy said "said shedrack."dad I can't marry her... I am committed to another " said dathan

" dathan... have you lost your respect? ... not only have you disregarded me as your father but also as your king "said king Darius."I'm sorry Dad" said prince dathan."that's okay...as for you dear go in and freshen up, have breakfast and relax with time you will understand everything "said the queen."um I wish to do that in my mum's house ... can I go home... please "I said with fear in my mind.at first the king was silent then he said"yes you can go home but when we need you, dathan will bring you back "I nodded in agreement.then the king instructed shedrack to open a portal which I reluctantly walked into.and after a crazy warpy journey through some weird looking loopholes I found myself at home in my bed.i looked around and saw it was still dark so I shut my eyes and went to sleep.

8:30AM.

My alarm clock went hey wire and I jumped out of bed and fell on the floor out of fear."oh my God... it's already morning "I ran into my bathroom, brushed my teeth and had my bathe.i wore a pink hoodie and black jeans with my flip-flops and rushed downstairs to have breakfast."good morning mum"I greeted My mum and gave her a peck on her cheeks "good morning dear...so tell me how was Lisa's party"asked mum as we sat to eat."oh that it wasn't really interesting."I said as thoughts of what happened on the night of Lisa's party flooded my mind.(quick A/N: it was on the night of Lisa's party that Kiara was almost r***d) My mum smiled and focused on her meal.i opened my breakfast and saw bacon and eggs, immediately my appetite disappeared." what's the matter... you don't like the food"said mum."not really it's just that I joined a gym program and I decided to start a loosing extra weight"I lied."really"asked mum."yes...can I please go upstairs"I asked."sure"said mum."thanks"I said as I ran to my room.as I flung open my room door,I saw dathan standing by the window and fear gripped me.
