What I wanted was peace, but it was hard to achieve because those nightmares kept coming back. To deal with the difficulty sleeping, I always drank warm milk before bed.
Even though it takes me a long time to fall asleep, I still end up sleep-deprived, with those nightmares visiting me again and again.
I remember clearly that I used to fall asleep in my office very often, and Sean would move me somewhere more comfortable. As much as he could, he always tried to help me deal with my insomnia. He never liked the idea of me taking sleeping pills.
After going through all that, now I have to face someone I can’t avoid.
