Chapter 1 Where It's Needed
At Melubora's Blood Moon Night, a dimly lit underground bar pulsed with energy, its chaotic dance floor alive with wild revelry. The air was thick with the scent of alcohol, and the atmosphere brimming with heat and passion.
In a room on the second floor, Serene was having a meltdown. She couldn't handle the man beneath her, stuck in an awkward position, wanting to take control but feeling thwarted by his lack of response.
"Hey, relax, baby. You're the one screwing me. But now you are so uptight. It's not gentlemanly to leave a lady unsatisfied,"
she tried to persuade him.
He glanced up at the woman above, his vampiric fangs gleaming with desire, combined with his sizzling physique, making him incredibly sexy.
But his words were far from pleasant. "Get off me, you slut."
"Are the buttons on your clothes welded shut by a blacksmith?"
Serene attempted again to undo his clothes but couldn't, feeling a bit discouraged.
He wore a mask, his breath thick and moist with warmth. She was certain he had been drugged.
'Exactly, because without it, there's no way a powerful Hybrid Vampire would be caught by someone as ordinary as me.'
This was an era where humans and vampires coexisted.
Humans were divided by wealth and class, while vampires had their own hierarchy defined by bloodline.
Vampires stood above humans.
He panted heavily, frustration mounting as he struggled in vain to push her away.
"Come on, baby, put that strength to use right here," Serene urged, guiding his hands over her full chest. With a gentle pull, her blouse ripped, baring an alluring view.
"Get lost!" He immediately turned his head away.
"Look at me! Pretty impressive, aren't they?" Serene puffed out her chest proudly, pleased with her figure. When she saw his lack of interest, her triumphant expression faded in a second. Instead, she started to plead. "I can tell you're not feeling great right now. I just wanted to make it better for you. Why don't you mark me on my neck with those sexy fangs of yours as a little thank you?"
"Mark?" He was even angrier, his voice filled with menace. "I thought you were here to screw me, but it turns out you're here to trick me into marking you. Who are you? And who sent you?"
Serene didn't understand why a Hybrid Vampire cared so much about his mark.
But that wasn't her problem. She was resolute in getting his mark tonight, ensuring her the title of Vampire Thralls and entry into the exclusive vampire banquet.
"No one sent me. Stop talking. You're already very aroused. If you don't let it out, you might get into trouble." Serene smiled ambiguously and then bent down to bite his zipper open.
'His shirt was impossible to unbutton, but his pants came off easily.'
Soon, his manhood was freed. Compared to the intense sensation, he seemed a bit panicked, constantly shouting to stop.
His appearance made Serene doubt he was inexperienced. 'But how could that be? Hybrid Vampires are above humans. A man like him shouldn't be a virgin.'
Serene hesitated, sighed, and began explaining her reasons, "If my fiancé and adopted sister hadn't betrayed me, I wouldn't be doing something so reckless, asking you for this."
He didn't respond.
Serene thought he had been persuaded and continued her actions.
But unexpectedly, he suddenly sat up. His once blonde hair turned black, his eyes shifted from gold to pure black, and his vampiric fangs were fully exposed, looking fierce.
He'd just used a vampire's Dementation skill on her!
A primal fear coursed through her, making her shiver, yet she couldn't help but find him breathtakingly handsome at that moment.
Her pre-prepared cross necklace emerged, easing her tension.
"You... " He was stunned, clearly not expecting her to be prepared.
Serene grew impatient and pressed him down. She pushed him over, as he was defenseless after releasing his energy. "Hey, baby, use your last bit of strength where it's needed."
She ran her fingers over his now hardened manhood and eased herself onto him.
*****
The first rays of morning sunlight poured in, warming her body. Serene woke up and turned to look beside her, but he was already gone.
She stared blankly for a while before quickly getting up to go to the bathroom.
In her haste, her actions caused a tug between her legs, making her wince in pain.
She looked into the mirror, swept her hair aside, and inspected her neck, where a delicate, beautiful mark was etched into her skin.
He had fulfilled her request.
Serene was excited and jumped up.
A vampire gathering was scheduled the next night, and Serene knew that no one from the prestigious Landers family would attend. This mark would let her impersonate a Landers and finally expose Jake and her adopted sister as adulterers they were, humiliating them at the event.
She had a solid plan.
Additionally, if she could find someone at the gathering willing to re-mark her, she could adopt a new identity and rise to nobility.
'Anyway, this mark isn't permanent. It can lose its effect at any time.'
