The beginning?
*beep*.... *beep*.... *beep*
The sound of the machine started echoing in my head. The smell of blood and saline mixed in my nose. I felt the urge to puke. I open my eyes and see a man next to me. Do I know him? He looks a little scared. I notice one of his hands in his medium length black hair and the other is resting on my hand on the bed. The urge came back and I jolted up trying not to aim at the young man. He looked startled and a slight smile played on his perfect lips. He quickly grabbed a little bag and handed it to me as the liquid started pouring out of my mouth. It tasted like water and stomach bile and it smelled horrible.
"You're awake!" He exclaimed as he wiped my mouth with the blanket. Just as I opened my mouth the door opened and a tall man walked in. He had salt and pepper hair with glasses, his jaw was square and he had grey eyes. He was wearing a white coat and carrying a chart. I guess that means he is the doctor. "Cameryn, it's good to see you awake. Are you experiencing any pain?" He asked with concern in his eye. Pain? Why would I feel pain? I looked at the other gentleman in the room as he grabbed my hand. I then looked down and saw I was bleeding. Why is there blood? I pulled my hand away from the man and saw a flash of pain in his golden eyes. Are we that close? I don't even know him. I looked back at the doctor and shook my head trying to find my voice. " Why... why is there blood?" My voice sounded weak and my head started pounding. It felt like something was trying to push my brain out the top of my head. I lifted my hands to my head and let out a small groan. The doctor rushed over and shined a light at my eyes. "Cameryn I need you to tell me what the last thing you remember is." The pain was getting worse and I let out another groan. I don't remember anything. I kept trying to remember something. Anything. But the more I tried the more pain I felt. I felt liquid coming from my eyes as a small scream escaped my lips.
"Cameryn, can you explain what you are feeling?" I shook my head as the pain worsened. I kept crying and another pain in my abdomen tore through me. What is happening? I felt a pair of arms wrap around me and I felt my body relaxing into this person. There was a slight smell, of rain in forest, but we were inside a hospital room. Why was I smelling rain? I opened my eyes and the man was holding me on the bed. His grip was firm and comforting. I didn't know this man, but I wanted to lean into him. I closed my eyes again and realized the pain was not there anymore. I quickly tried to push him away, regardless of every bone in my body wanting him to stay. He shook his head no. "Baby, you need me right now. And I need to hold you." I shook my head. "Are we married?" I asked feeling my cheeks heat up. He was a handsome man, jet black hair that was pushed the side just past his eyes. He had golden brown eyes and perfect, luscious lips with a freckle on the bottom left. He looked to be about 6'4 and was extremely muscular and had a few tattoos up his arms. He looked to be partially Asian, or Korean.
He pulled back and looked into my eyes. There was an intense feeling in the air. The way he was looking at me made me blush even more and I looked away feeling slightly embarrassed. He grabbed my chin and made me look at him again. "What is my name?" He asked, looking worried about the answer. I stared into his eyes trying to remember anything. Then I felt the pain again, and I quickly shut my eyes and felt more tears. He wrapped me up again and for a second it felt like he was sniffing me. "I'm so sorry." I said as a rush of guilt hit me. He was looking at me with such love and I couldn't even remember his name. I didn't even know my name but they called me Cameryn so I guess that's it. Again I smelt the rain and it felt like it was calming me. The pain stopped when he was holding me. "I don't remember anything." I said. He pulled back and stared at me with a concerned look.
"What is the last thing you remember?" The doctor said again and I looked at him. I shook my head "Nothing. I don't remember anything. When I try to remember my head starts pounding and it hurts so much. I remember waking up. I remember this conversation. But that is all." I said as I looked between the doctor and the man. "Do you know what you..." He started to say and then stopped. I swear I saw his eyes glaze over for a moment before they were back to the grey color they were. I blinked and rubbed my eyes and looked back at him. "Okay Cameryn, we have alot to fill you in on. This young man next to you is not your husband, but can be trusted with your life if you choose. I can stay in the room to help explain what I know or I can leave and let him explain. It's going to be a lot, and some of it is going to be very painful. You also have wounds that should be healing quite fast, but if you feel pain from them I can give you more pain medication." I looked at the doctor and then looked at this man that "could" be trusted. He had tears in his eyes as he brushed my hair out of my face. "Do you have a name?" I asked in a joking manner. He smiled and let out a slight chuckle followed by a sigh. "It's Glenn." He said while he pulled me close again. I felt my body almost purr at his touch. A tingling feeling caressed my skin as he ran his hand down my arm. "Okay Glenn. I would like for you to tell me, what happened." I looked at him and the doctor excused himself.
