Chapter 3 human feet

Selene’s POV

I woke up the next day to the sound of pounding at my door. “Selene wake up” Valamar said while still pounding at my door. I opened the door roughly “What!” I said loudly “The king is waiting, and I suggest you don’t keep him waiting long” he says gently I rolled my eyes and swam to the door of the castle dad was giving Aeron the last few orders before he left. “Bye brother” I said sarcastically

“I hope the trip does you well little sis, hopefully you find joy in these types of meetings” he said giving me a knowing smirk “Very funny you must be enjoying this so much” I scoffed

he laughed lowly “Kinda but it’s for your own good” he shrugged he gave me a tight hug he was actually a really good brother we just didn’t see eye to eye on a lot of things mainly because he was soon to be king, and I was just the princess and I didn’t want to just do as I was told. Dad grabbed my hand and we swam to the surface of the ocean the water glistened in the sunlight I took a breath of fresh air so did dad. We swam with our tail till about the middle of the ocean close to the shore but not to close to where humans could see us, we shifted from our blue and gold siren tails to our human feet. We swam to shore we were greeted by Valamar who was already on the sand dressed in shorts. He gave us both towels and turned around I swiftly put mine on without letting anyone see my naked body. We have a mansion close to the shore for times like these when we must shift into human form its like a pack house for sirens we all stop there for clothes and occasionally will stay in this house when we have meetings and such dad also owns a few human businesses he manages so we do use this house quiet often. We make our way to the sand I wiggle my toes in the warm sand and bask in the rays of the sunshine I looked over at dad he looks bothered by his feet he’s never liked his human form very much. He’s a very tall man standing at about 6’4 he’s large like freakishly large in muscle tone his long white hair cascades down his back and his beard is long and white I always tell him he needs to shave but he doesn’t want to.

I don’t share the same features as him. I am told i am my mother’s twin I have long blonde hair aqua eyes with a yellow ring in the middle, my skin is pale with almost a glow to it, I’m not built with muscle my skin is soft and smooth with curves in all the right places and unlike my father I love my human form.

We make our way to the house on shore we are greeted by a few staff member they are sirens we have hired that like to stay in the human world they bow at us respectfully and escort us in. “King Poseidon Lucy will help you with your wardrobe in your chambers” said Amber the lead house keeper here at the house.

“I can find my way by myself and help myself ” my dad said roughly he then walked to his chambers mumbling under his breath.

Amber shrugged “I’ll help you princess” she grinned

I nodded she took me to my room that’s here. The whole interior was done up in soft blue tones my bed is all white with Egyptian soft sheet I instantly fall face first into the bed amber laughs at me “I love my human room” I gushed

“I know I can’t wait for you to turn of age hopefully we’ll see you more often” she says excitedly

“I hope so dad still has hope I’ll stick around the kingdom and help with meetings but I want to be here in the human world I love the ocean but I also want to explore” I admitted

she laughed “I know you do but for today go on and shower and I’ll pick out an outfit that’s popular with the teens right now” I nodded and ran to the shower lathering myself in my favorite strawberry soap.

I took extra care of my skin, I even shaved leaving my whole body baby soft. I walked out wrapped in a new white towel. Amber laid out a black panty and bra set with some cute black flared leggings a white crop top and a short athletic tight sweater with some white converse to match. I gave my self a once over I looked simple and comfy, my curves looked amazing my small waist and thickish thighs looked great.

Amber walked back in the room and clapped her hands excitedly “You look gorgeous dear and these curves are to die for” she gushed at me I blushed at her comments “Thank you dad didn’t give me a dress code attire so cute and comfy it is” I smiled “Let’s put some light makeup on really quick and you’ll be ready” Amber said quickly she finished doing my make up it was light and fitting for me just some foundation mascara and blush and a little highlighter to highlight my cheek bones

I walked out and dad was already waiting for me he was dressed in a suit and tie he tied his hair back in a man bun, and definitely brushed his beard because it’s not the disheveled mess It usually is. He looked at me with a disapproving look “Selene we have a meeting with the Alpha king and the princes you can’t go like that!”

“It’s not my meeting and I’m not an adult yet I’m sure there not going to care what I’m wearing, I don’t want to wear an itchy dress we just came out of the water” I said he looked at me for a moment contemplating what I had just said “I guess your right but next time please throw on something elegant” he said lowly “Amber see to it that you buy her elegant COMFORTABLE dresses please” he says annoyingly I roll my eyes and look back at Amber she nodded in understanding

when dad turned around slightly I glanced over at her and she gave me a wink. she knows I hate dresses which is why she gave me a comfortable outfit.

For this round I have won and even though the King is disapproving of my look for today I’m grateful he’s not going to fight me on it. “Ready to go?” Dad says “ ready as I’ll ever be” I say sarcastically as I followed him to the black SUV that will be driving us 4 hours away to the Alpha kings home.
