"I heard this night is going to be lit as fuck." Janice said excitedly as we ate our lunch. She was Sebastian's girlfriend.
The entire table went into a discussion about the party this night.
Since our talk about the Thanksgiving party last week, I've been really uncomfortable. The thought of going to a party with Miller isn't really sitting well with me.
I thought of asking Maya and the boys if they'd be going too, but I am not ready to explain what's going on to them, so that's not an option.
"9 pm babe, don't be late." Miller said to me just as the bell for end of lunch went.
"9 pm babe, don't be late." I mimicked him after he left. Janice and Sebastian just shook their heads at me and left.
I was left alone at the lunch table.
I wish I didn't have to go for this stupid party, but since I haven't found a solution to my 'Miller problem', I don't exactly have a choice. I need to find a solution and find one fast, because he'll keep making demands until it gets to something I can't do.
I was still thinking about possible ways of stopping Miller when my phone buzzed.
12:25 pm
Asshat
We need to talk. I don't know what's going on, but you need to stop avoiding us. You can't keep doing this Crazy.
I don't know why he has been calling me Crazy and that is definitely something I need to find out. The message from Damon came as a surprise though, since he has not tried contacting me after Miller ticked him off last week.
I looked up from my phone and saw Damon, Cole and Maya staring at me. I think they were expecting me to come over to their table since Miller wasn't near me.
No! No! No!
I wasn't ready to talk just yet. So I did what suited the situation best.
I stood up like nothing just happened and walked out of there as fast as I could. Partly because of them and because I didn't want to be late for my next class.
******************************************
"Come on, one shot won't hurt babe." Miller said smirking at me.
I hated him calling me babe. It made me feel like throwing up, but there was nothing I could do, I had to keep this act up for as long a possible.
Coming to this party was definitely a bad idea.
"Come on Kim, we all know this isn't your first time of taking alcohol." One of Miller's friends said shoving the cup into my hands. I had the strong urge to kick him where the sun doesn’t shine.
Do these guys really think I'm stupid? This drink was definitely spiked.
Why will Miller want to drug me?
If that's the question bugging you, here are a few reasons why;
1. We haven't had s*x. I don't want to get his STDs
2. The last time he tried kissing me I poured ketchup on his favourite hoodie and told him he had cooties.
There are about three more reasons but you guys will probably think I'm crazy.
I really didn't want a boyfriend, but "I needed one in order to look like a normal teenage girl", Dimitri's words not mine. In my opinion, relationships don't validate normality.
Unfortunately for me, I picked the wrong guy to act as my boyfriend.
Miller was quite popular and had a carefree attitude making this whole dating thing with him seem like a good idea since I don’t need a nosy person.
But what I didn't know was that this asshole was horny at every damn moment and didn't understand that he was only to act as my boyfriend. Almost every single minute, he spewed put some rubbish that made me internally face palm myself. Such a pain the butt.
When I realised my mistake, I tried ending things but he..
"Babe you're going to drink that now right?" Miller said glaring at me.
I'm not weak okay. I can kick his ass and that of his friends within the twinkle of an eye, but that'll blow my cover and people will doubt the credibility of this 'relationship'. I couldn't let that happen, at least not until my mission here was completed.
"Kim! Kim! Kim!" His friends began chanting.
“Bunch of idiots.” I muttered angrily under my breath.
I had only two options, either I drink this and let these idiots take advantage of me or I could run.
Running was really a good idea though, if I got them out of this party, I could kick some ass and their ego wouldn't let them tell anyone it was me.
"Okay guys. Count from one to three." I said provocatively and moved closer to Miller.
He smiled at the gesture, the asshole already had a b***r.
Seriously?! I didn’t even touch him.
"One".
"Two".
"Three."
They all counted excitedly.
As soon as they chorused the last number, I poured the cup of scotch on Miller’s hair and took off with full speed, not before shouting 'cooties' of course.
"I swear to God I'm going to f*****g kill you." Miller screamed above the music blasting through the house, he was definitely running after me.
I just flipped him the finger and increased my pace.
"You're going to regret this." He said and threw a glass cup at me.
I was able to dodge it and I kept running.
I turned back and noticed that it wasn’t just him on my trail anymore.
Oh well, this will be harder than I thought.
After running through corners for about five minutes, the main door to the house finally came into my view.
"Finally." I sighed.
"Don't let her get away guys." Miller said, sounding really angry.
I turned back to see exactly how many people were on my heels and also to see Miller's angry face. He looked like a tomato about to explode. I let out a giggle at the sight, this was probably the wrong time to be laughing, but I couldn’t help myself.
"Ouch." I said holding my nose. I wasn't watching where I was going and ran into a wall.
"Sorry about that dude. I'll take care of it from here." As soon as I heard Miller's words, I sighed in frustration and leaned my head against the wall.
It was over I guess. I was about to pull away from the wall when I felt warm arms wrap around my waist.
Wait a second, the wall I was leaning on has muscles. Walls don't have muscles right? And this wall smelt amazing and very familiar.
This was definitely not a wall.
"Actually, Kim and I have a lot of things to sort out.” This wall could also talk.
The hands on my waist tightened and I was pulled closer to my muscular wall. . I could hear Miller and his friends mumbling their protests.
"Does anyone have a problem with that?" He asked. My talking wall sounded really familiar but I wasn't going to overthink and ruin the moment. His hands felt warm and comfy.
"b***h this isn't over." Miller said angrily just as I heard the sound of glass shatter. Someone definitely to take an anger management class.
I tried turning around to see the mess Miller had caused but froze in my spot after these words left my muscular wall's mouth.
"Its alright Crazy, he's gone although we actually have a lot to discuss."
Only one person calls me Crazy and I have been avoiding him for the past five days after our little incident.
Why did I have to run into him and why now of all times? Luck is never really on my side, is it?
"Crazy are you listening?" He asked, blowing hot air on my earlobe.
How am I meant to listen when he does things like this?
I couldn't do this. I couldn't be near him.
"Crazy?!" He asked sounding slightly worried.
"Damon." I sighed softly, leaning into him fully.
I was done running, it was pointless.
I guess it’s high time he knows why I-
