"I am finding it hard to believe that she actually did and said all of that." Cole said still trying to take in everything I had just told him.
"So am I." I said with a sigh.
"It does not really make sense to me, I thought maybe she will feel guilty or something, I mean you guys were best friends for so many years." He said trying to come up with a logical explanation for Hope's behavior.
"Maybe she never really had my back." I said thinking back to all the times in the past when she had thrown hard jabs my way but covered them up with jokes. It all made sense now.
